I think I’ve met them too. Had a really nice 3 way fight last Saturday:
me vs 2 of them vs 2 Vizunah Warriors
It was soo fun, we even /bow-ed after killing the 2 Vizus

[Psy] has some of the saddest perplexity roamers I`ve seen for a while… you guys just love to abuse the meta or is this still the cool thing to do on Gunnars?

Apart from that, nice roaming action this week, very fun and challenging!

I’m pretty sure I have seen Buka roaming around with perplexity runes themselves. Pretty unfair to callout another guild when some of your members use it too..

I tested them for 30 minutes yesterday and apologized to my opponents and swapped them out again. I felt pretty bad about using them, even if it was without pistol offhand and with only one interrupt on a 20s CD.
This rune is jut so wrong.
But yes, there are bukas that use them. No warriors and no engis though. I think one mesmer uses them for soloroaming at times.

BTW: There are two different [Psy] guilds out there on GH.

A lot of players use these runes dude.. I’m fighting them everyday. Especially if it’s an engi.. they can insta stack you with 20 stacks of confusion, if you don’t have the reflex to get the hell out without touching any skill you instantly die.

I’ve fought many Kodash thieves using this and being very trigger happy with “Headshot”.. sad part is I’ve had this discussion with people claiming Engi is finally “somewhat decent” with Perplexity while they were already one of the strongest, if not strongest roaming classes. With perplexity it’s just insane.. but any build that has some sort of a stun/condition damage… gg :/

There will be thousands of people complaining when Perplexity gets nerfed, I guess they don’t mind their 20 stacks of confusion ofc.

Nah, it`s ok, to be honest it was my fault engaging into engi + thief (perplex), and I could cleanse, dodge and tranfser all I wanted, but I never ended up with less than 10 stacks during the fight.

It just seems so overly common these days again, but maybe it`s me being unlucky…

P.S.: Apologies little asura P/D perplexity thief from [Psy] for the rant, hit me up for 1on1 anytime.

I tested it duelling without permastun (no X/P) yesterday for around 30 min (maybe 31). An ICD on the 6th bonus will not be a nerf but a little toning down.
The effect of constant 8 stacks was devastating with my P/D build. With the torment, the interrupt on steal and confusion the 10 bleedstacks just felt like a bonus.

Thanks for the duels last night Zumy, was good fun! I’ll try and make it to your dueling session on Thursday night if I can too.

Also, sorry about this morning Moon – I immediately said after we’d fought you that I felt bad 2v1ing you. The next time we saw you on our way up north we just left you alone to your roaming.

IMO perplexity needs toning down a bit thats all, maybe 2 stacks per interrupt rather than an ICD.

Edit: also I’m not running perplexity on my engi, just in case anyone jumped to that conclusion

True, 60-80 hiding in our Spawntower on their BL, when arround 40 of us are in front of the tower.
Since Reset I thought Vizu did a little, mini-winni, Change, but yesterday they proved that this was wrong.

But we had nice outmanned fights (1:1.5 or 1:2) against MoS arround and inside bay yesterday, some wipes for us and some for them

We were having nice roaming and duelling chit chat here. Please vent your sadness about a server bringing his players to WvW somewhere else.
Not everybody is an openfielder and this is a casual game. If you only find 80+ groups, you are looking at the wrong spots.
If you expect to attack a crucial structure like hills or bay and Vizunah will only bring even numbers, then you should know that this will not work. Everybody wants to participate in WvW and Vizunahs everybody is just severly bigger than our everybody.
Blame ANet, not Vizunah. Or just learn to adapt. Vizunah is a great opponent if you dont try to get their ppt.

Nice week so far Vizu! Glad to see you have more and more roamers every matchup we meet. Keep it going!

If anet won`t nerf some skills soon, I will stop duelling and roaming. It`s so ridiculous, everytime I met people who are up for duells, they are spirit rangers, condition phantasm mesmers with PU, condition warriors with healing sigend or perplexitiy-trolls.
Afterwards they are surprised, wherfore I don`t want to duell these guys.

Had 7 sparring partners yesterday and none of the earlier was involved besides one perplexity engi.
Wasn’t too gamebreaking though.

A pretty good engineer told me yesterday: “Perplexity made me get sloppy.”
I guess this is true for everybody who uses them and is a great weakness.

PU Phants or Signet Warriors will get /laugh after 2 minutes of duelling. If they die I will stomp them. Who relies on completely passive AI/Regen/Boons sould not expect me to count it as a duel.
Duels imply that both actually could die.

Zumy, mate, I don´t whine about “defending” a structure, defending it with the best possible force is absolutely understandable – the way of defending is what I can´t understand (but this doesn´t take me to complaining, whining, …)

It´s really not understandable for me (and that hits not only Vizu), that a clearly stronger force hides in a tower/camp/siege and doesn´t make a push to prevent the enemy to build a critical force for the own forces .
I personally can´t see a strategic or tactic reason for this – but maybe I´m just to nearsighted

Fighting outmanned is also not a problem, it´s a challenge “evil grin”

Venting is often wrong compared to whining, but who cares, counting peas or letters arround a game doesn´t really make sence, it only costs time and fun.

But also this is not about honour or something, this is a casual PvP-ish zergmode. It is not fun for casuals to get farmed by paintrains even if the casuals outnumber 2vs1.
If they know they cannot openfieldly beat a GvG superherogang, why should they bother?

The casual Zergling world is about WxP, Karma, Bags of Loot, Sieges with 100 friends and above everything doing this with the least effort.
I don’t like it, but I respect it.
There are other things I dont like. I learned to respect them too.

People should just try to get the best out of this. Leave the Vizu primetimezergs alone if you cant stand them running into towers.
For what I have seen massive openfield battles happened on Viz border on Saturday night. And I am sure it will happen again.

I just cba to read the blatant “we roam 20-35 ‘smallscale-guildgroup’ and only meet 80+ blobs, where is ypur pride?” To me those groups are clueless zerglings as much as the 80+ blobs are. But I made my peace with it and just want everybody to enjoy this game the best way he can.
This is called tolerance.

I’d like to add that vizunah pugs are of very high quality. I haven’t seen many true zergs, but mostly open raids. Even the eb zerg moves better and is more disciplined than a lot of guilds.

@Zumy You are right about what you said no argue here.

But sitting with 40 people inside a tower using acs to kill the 10 that are attacking it is completely different.
I never whined about Vizunah, i even said they are much better and much more respectfull than the so called guild servers.
Also i am not talking about prime time, i couldn’t care less about prime time zergs, but offpeak where i usually play.

Tolerance and Respect are things, that, sadly, not often take place in mmo´s, sad but true.

agree, that Vizu overall got better than arround 8 weeks before, change takes time and sometimes gets a little backbeat, but I think Vizu sells its skinns under the price (not only in the sight of a guild based gamer, also in the sight of a lucky former more or less pug)

To answer someone’s question, yes: there are 2 [Psy] guilds in GH. One is “Team Psy”, the other being “Order of Intoxication”. Both have really great roamers though.
And I agree with Zumy on the PU/Signet matter: being almost impossible to kill even WHILE dueling is a bit too much(a D/P cannot be killed because he resets the fight, and that is silly but at least you could say that you outplayed him).

feras, joueras and choisiras are not imperative but indicatif future. Therefore it is an annoucement of what will be done.

If you can play at night, you will do it.
For victory you will play the score.
As equippment you will choose PVT.
