The last thread was too far off topic. I don’t think pelts has anything to do with the matchup.

Maybe they miscalculated and were trying to have the thread down when BG passed JQ (just happened) to prevent PPT rage.

I don’t understand what sets off the triggers here. I’ve gotten deep in it for complimenting people (not snidely or condescendingly either) and guilds.

Interesting that the thread was killed off this week. I definitely think it deserved it, but the BG/SoS/SoR one was 10x as bad and it survived.

Hopefully this will be a new trend… :-)

I spent so long sieging up Hills, and now it’s gone On the bright side, at least BG is leading again. Tenuous lead of ~60 points, but we’re still leading!

With sincere respect, I want to congratulate BG on surpassing JQ this early in the week. As expected, our lack of european recruit is a strong liability. Looking at the scores, I estimate that we would need to create ~5K nightly ppt buffer before the EU time to offset the coverage weakness.

I haven’t given up hope and plan to put up a good fight when PST comes around.

Thank god you guys don’t just roll over and take it like SoR. The fights have been absolutely amazing so far. I’ve died more times in this matchup already than I did in the entire 3 weeks of vsing SoR, and probably killed more already as well. It’s been amazing.

Can hardly be that, BG practically match manipulated the first week, by calling a formal 2v1 on JQ in week 1. That was practically admitted.

As well, though there are other reasons, im sure Agg is going after BG because they give em bigger blobs to fight. BG = Blobgate after all. I ask you this, you are AGG and EP, capable of taking on pretty much any zerg head on and chewing it up, what are you gonna do? Aim it at the JQ zerg of 40? Or send it at the BG zerg of 60+? Kittens and Glory, and Bags.
Besides, I can personally tell you, they dont descriminate on whose bags they get. You get too close, you’re a bag, BG or JQ.
Im sure if BG would quit feeding them, they would go after JQ’s toys. So ya, BG, keep feeding em.

Why is Agg even a subject in this. I’m not surprised they came to this match. Agg has been around T1 enough for us to know that they will transfer to the fights if they have to and what better match to be part of then this one. Agg is always fun to fight and I’m glad they are here.

As for the week 1 2v1, get over it. It was in the best interest of both SoR and BG for JQ to get 3rd place. If either BG or SoR wanted a chance at first place in seasons JQ had to get 3rd that week. BG just got the better end of the deal and no one expected weeks 2/3/4 to go the way they did.

To GE and RQ: Amazing fights in JQBL last night. You guys are great at keeping that pressure up. I’d have to say that orchard fight was crazy, I couldn’t see a thing until your train came running through. Hope to see you guys again tonight. Much fun.

to the ZD engi and warrior I roamed with on jqbl sunday night /salute . was most fun I had in awhile! Never saw a more effective 2 man roamer group. Took out all siege in 2 towers and flipped fully up graded north camp with a ton of yak kills. They didn’t even need my +15 supply

Each person reacts differently to “interesting” forum posts, for mine, I laughed and then spent the night flipping green camps red for the tick any BL I could manage it.

meh I have no idea if I even made a 100 ppt difference over the 4-5 hrs but I enjoyed it… some good skirmishes from both BG and JQ WvW ers

Bring it whichever way you choose, WvW is the game for me.

Yes, meanwhile BG’s full queues on all four maps never let up. I kinda feel bad about us closing the gap not because we played better, but because we had more players. In the SEA timezone I played in earlier, we made no progress for two hours despite having a full queue. Flipping so many things during JQ’s weakest timezone almost feels like cheating.

That said I played the first time in BG NA timezone today and wow, there’s a huge difference. No wonder NA is BG’s strongest timezone. The commanders talk and communicate. Zergs coordinate with havoc squads. There are active scouts and active roamers, such that bloodlust is constantly capped and no enemy movement goes unnoticed. Nobody is shy to use their voice on TS (comparatively EU BG was almost a monologue), and when the commander calls for volunteers to respond to small enemy groups there are people willing to go. We even took Hills and the commander called to siege up the place, temporarily disbanding the zerg but achieving in two minutes what it took more than an hour for me to do solo earlier. It’s honestly the first time I’ve seen a commander do this.

Only strange thing is the preference to split into so many squads. With so few people in any individual squad, it’s impossible to take anything except camps and ruins. Defending is easy; one scout report goes off and every squad goes to the attacked objective. But we can’t take anything substantial. Why do we split up so?

You did a good job sieging it up. I was the JQ commander there during that time, and it sure was annoying to break in, clear all your siege, and then, 30 minutes later, there are 2 trebs and 5 ACs up again at all doors. Not to mention that trying to take hills against superior numbers sucks in general … Looking for Queue … :-/

Um… what server are you on? BG had no queue on SoS BL most of the day, up until EU time possibly. I even reported that several times in SoS BL map chat, as I was on a better part of today. JQ BL was also off and on for a queue as well. the only 2 maps we had queued through the day was EB and BG.

The timezone you played in if you were on BG BL and part of the Hills take down and then defence against us until we finally flipped it (Xeeron did a leading great job there) was EU prime time – I guess that would be afternoon US time spread across your 3 hours timezone range. Anyway, that’s all semantics.

What queue spaces? Last I checked Agg goes into an outnumbered bl then all the nuthuggers show up. Agg also likes to pick maps where SoS owns nothing so not sure what SoS defenders you talking about.

This is incorrect. I was watching the stream and SoS had sub 100 PPT before [Agg] started hitting BG targets. However, at one point they were ticking higher than JQ and BG because of what [Agg] did.

When changing maps, [Agg] did not face any queues so they could not possibly have been keeping others out of the map they were on.

You have to keep in mind that not all fights are open field and without much gain for the server [unless you have bloodlust and stomp downed players].

The misgivings of BG stems from the fact that [Agg] specifically targeted them.

Agg and SoS do not care about ppt. They haven’t this whole time during league. They’ve known that they’re not going to place, so they’d rather have good fights where they can find them.

TC and SoS has always put good fights on the table whatever tier they’ve been in. However, SoS just couldn’t keep the coverage during their variable rise and fall to T1.

Mag, kitten on them. They’re the biggest trash talkers and can’t back it up.

As for BG… Every server knows that they bought the guild (ZD) to be on and to be the strongest server during every NA servers (especially SoR and JQ) weakest timezone to sway league their way. Hence, they knew they needed to go shopping for guilds because JQ and SoR beat them week 40 and JQ beat them horribly week 41 leading up to league.

Everyone knows they organized the 2v1 on JQ. SoR played the hand they were dealt because they knew to get second they had to put JQ in 3rd in the first weed and do it again on the last week of league.

As for JQ, you’re the true winners. JQ, since the beginning of GW2, has been T1. That’s the ultimate compliment, because with guild shifts as frequent for a server the fall can too. SBI, SoS, and many others that have been to T1 can preach to that. JQ has won the most times out of any server. (19-1st, 17-2nd, and 19-3rd=55) The closest one to them is BG (14-11-14=39).

So no matter what JQ, you’re still the true, clear winners even if you don’t get 1st or 2nd over this politically manipulative league season. BG can have that win.

So…your point is? Oh no, not a guild going around EB looking for fights….silly me, that’s what most people actually do on EB, aside from flopping SMC back and forth like they were stealing the lollipop out of the opposing teams mouth every 5 minutes.

Really though, I need to hear more about how Agg is ruining the game mode.
