We’ve had alot of good fights and got a bit more experience out of it, thanks. Looks like this week is gonna be alot of upscaled lvling in wvw

I saw a few weeks ago there was some internal drama around your WvW guilds? Though my view is wonky, I always admired TEO/WBC and other guilds I’ve forgotten. It really has been awhile.

Does that laggy engi still play?

Nice to see other servers starting the thread for once but it needs more pointless pics of blobs 10/10.

I expect TSO will be out in full force this week since some players have until now been put off by “the enemy zergs”. If you see us, be sure to demonstrate what skillful PvP looks like for me.

I don’t play on reset, but when I do play I will provide said screenshots for your viewing pleasure. Along with appropriate QQ, no extra charge.

Last time we faced you I was in a different guild, so I can’t comment on what you may or may not remember of us. It seems me posting in these threads all the time makes people think we’re a major WvW guild or something. God help WSR if we are.

Just to ask does vabbi or fow have a wvw guild that can bring 20+ ppl for a gvg?

We have WvW guilds with +20 ppl but you wouldn’t see an organised stack that you might be used to (good group composition, spell effects filling the screen etc). Even if we did a GvG we wouldn’t have nearly as much practice as you!!
Try us for 1v1s, 3v3s and it might be a different story
I suppose it’s the gameplay exposure each ‘tier’ has.

Not quite as good as the original though, imho. :p Almost forgot, the video is fairly loud at points and has swearing.

Some pretty good fights in FoWBL the little bit I played! The WSR guys didn’t give up even though we started to outnumber them. <3

Edit: I’m not sure what the commander who left our BL to take Vabbi’s was thinking really. Stoping the upgrades in the green BL/EB seems like a smarter idea to me, but is probably not as smart as I think.

^He means open field. Since we, in wbc, really dislike sieging of any kind. Nothing fun about building something and then said thing being arrow carted to death.

Must say I’ve been really enjoying this match up so far! Feels very competitive and already had some epic defensive battles. Lets hope it stays like this

I’m sure you will find some open field fights too though.
I’m also enjoying the match-up so far. WSR seem to be better and more organized than Blacktide, probably due to your big WvW guilds (I saw at least 30 people from [WAR] lying dead in one corner of our garrison last night).
Kudus to Vabbi who are keeping up nicely and still owning during the night time.

Tbh i expected no Resistence at all from Either vabbi or FoW.
But the WvW people u guys have are pretty good.

The defense on Bay yesterday was Huge. And impressif so we went for hills with a small group while our commanders kept presure on Bay.

Just a Small question: Do u guys got eny people that aren’t mesmers or thiefs??
Cause i only seen mesmers thiefs and sometimes a Ranger from FoW.

i see lots of warriors and guardians on FoW.
maybe the reason u see lots of thieves is because i am a thief and i commanded yesterday in FoW BL.
and in this morning in FoW BL.

I ques yesterday i just kept running into the same people.

it takes time to convince FoW’kers to get down from the wall and start busting some heads.
but when they do you better start running.

Would like to thank the people active yesterday evening at WSR BL for the nice little fights I had.. Was great fun to see some people arrive to defend the camp I was capping, the loot bags were much appreciated.. Oh, and kudo’s to that ranger that owned me twice at Star..

Yeah bro its alot of of fun playing in here, lots of ‘fights’ like you said Also we had 60+ golems ready but when we arrived in your border there was only paper stuff, this week is disgusting.

A week of lates caught up with me so I only got in a couple of hours on reset night. Just long enough to see Hybrid quit while I was rushing to get there. Followed Red Anja for a bit after that – worth it as I got 3 rares, 1 named exotic and one of those new pink cirq rings and a good number of badges.

Had to spend what little time I got yesterday in PvE helping a guildie get the sky crystals. Hope to manage an hour or three tonight and contemplating rolling a new toon as well for the hell of it.

The main difference is that guilds like TEO/WBC like to fight 20+ groups instead of golem rushing, but these servers don’t really have any big groups to fight.

I really don’t think there’s much difference fighting groups of 8+ or 20+ when WBC and TEO run around in 60+ blobs the whole time. Maybe more lootbags?

Of course we work together and this results into 40-50 people of a few guilds in the same area. But we are friends, and we are bored. So we hop in eachother’s raid channel to try to find some fun, like naked zergs or lowbie zergs. We are bored… what else do you expect us to do… We have done guild raids too, but the only end result is, we flipped the border even faster. Might as well run together for the shared xp. Really, last night, we only ran into one medium sized group on our garri lord. During the whole raid, we ran into pretty much noone, just some solo roamers and some people dug into keeps with ac’s. On a 4 hour raid… You have really no reason to complain about blobs when 50 guys/girls have nothing else to do but stack up, blast swiftness and autoattack a gate.

We personally don’t like sieging at all, we rather fight groups. We can’t find that here, hence why we don’t really enjoy it. Anyways, no hard feelings, respect for you, carry on.

I just wish anet would do at least something to address the population issue for FOW and Vabbi, its a sad sad tale when we have skilled commanders but no numbers to back up :C

Really fun fight at creek tower this morning, the best i had the last weeks.

Thanks to wsr for not simply treb’ing us out. Imho this gives an answer to skwas question, what to do to get fun fights vs vabbi: handicap yourself a bit in either going with smaller numbers or not roflsiegeing the few of us – its not like we don’t want to fight, we simply can’t bring that many people (even less when fights are no fun)

Sad to hear you guys from FoF were only guesting, it was a pleasure to fight with you – we could use more organized players like you (will badly miss your portals). Good luck, nice drops and have fun back home. Hope to meet you again someday.
