Very good fights in NSP BL last night, after we took GoM BL we went for a casual camp flip and some WXP in DR bl, their response time was very good! awesome fight at north camp (1)

We had alot of uplevels DR came a us pretty hard and consistently! I later sacrificed myself (asura guardian) to let the others wp.

Sadly it was at this point i noticed our Hills was gone!

After we retook hills and were doing some camp clearing . Ive stumbled across a very persistent pair. Ranger and thief. Really tanky ranger, permastealth thief. They were pretty kitten good together. Myself and another ZoS guardian really enjoyed our fight at the SE camp of NSP BL, (I blame respawns for losing that one XD)

The best I can say to that, is to try and party them and say you want some 1v1s OR /bow towards one of them. These are two ways we go about honourable fights.

Fun matchup so far. Lot of small groups, solo roamers. It might be heaven for all of us pretty people.

A lot of fight in DR. Having a blast. I feel it will be back and forth. Seems as though whomever has SM is gonna get hit hard!

Seriously though, this is a great matchup, and it’s fun fighting the occasional duel over a supply camp I’m trying to solo. To those GoM mesmer(s) from WOLF and another guild I don’t remember (sorry!) and the guardian that came up and held Speldan, good fights! And even if I eventually killed you once or twice, you saved your server quite a bit of supply, silver, and time by holding me off long enough for 5-6 people show up. Good fights all around!

Out manned in EB then its time to attack the other factions… make them react to you instead of reacting to them.

Yes that was some good fights. That was M Black and myself as Witherod. We were just out tooling around and ran into you guys a few times great fights every time. I’m still figuring out my ranger only made him 2 days ago and yesterday was my second day of pvp with him. M Black pretty much carried me through those fights, I was just his meat wall. Cheers!

I play since the beta for GoM but i never felt so ashamed before.
Not even when ppl called us of hackers, when some kitten actually did it, neither when we fell to the last tier.

But HoD’s players that transfered to GoM Achieved something i’ve never seen before.

They went in the keep and builded 21 Alpha golems, yes you didn’t read wrong it was 21. (will wait for someone who got the SS to post here, i’m sure someone did)
AND 2 Omega golems.
That’s 31 gold JUST in the golems bluesprint.

They left the Keep and attacked: Wild Creek Post.

And was about that. they managed to lose 16 golems IN ONE kittenING TOWER, WHEN SM had Outter walls down and normal gates.

That’s such a high level of inability, that i’m pretty sure they deserve a prize for that.

And one of these “highly skilled” commander asked why no one, after this ****, was following his order.

A real big salute to the players of “Zombie Land” that for a random reason have “WvW” tag but pls transfer back for HoD.

If i could i would trade all of you guys for 3 NPCs guards for our keep.

Not even funny.

Good fight to the Boss Thieves, Ele, and Warrior at Redvale a couple minutes ago. I had tried to get some ppl to flip that camp, and it was only after all 4 of you came after me that they pushed in.

Also, just in general…there are a LOT of glassy thieves from both GoM and DR this week. I play a condi build with only 15% crit damage, so when a Grenade Barrage can burst down a target 60-80%, that’s a new level of glass cannon.

I was there when this wall called out by our players. Wildcreek melted to the golems but luckily Aldon’s was well sieged/manned. Caused quite a stir.

Yes quite a few friends of mine on HoD were very happy when they jumped ship, after telling the entire server to give up until after SF moved up.But SF moved up at the same time HoD went down as they offered no resistance at all. it was heartbreaking.

No worries. We raided the fridge and someone may or may not have upper-decked one of the bathrooms, but we kept things tidy otherwise. Can’t promise NSP will give it the same treatment once Rob logs in, though.

AD is not “a” 5-man team that runs dedicated professions every night. AD is a larger guild where whoever is online may jump in and play. That’s why you will see us field anything between 2-10 players, the occasional uplevels and completely random team compositions. We will also frequently team up with NoQQ and BSty simply because we enjoy running with them

Thus you will never see “our 5 man ingame”. We simply do not have one.

Just about every time I’ve logged in this weekend, we’ve owned SM. Obviously, Zombieland is doing something right. Besides… this story is lacking some details. Was that tower upgraded? A fully fortified Wildcreek is an absolute nightmare to deal with. Was anyone else working on SM at the time? A golem rush on a tough tower while a separate group takes down a wall-less paper SM is a good play.

At any rate, calling them out on the forums is no good. Just send them a whisper if you don’t agree with a plan. They might be seeing something you don’t, or vice versa.

Awesome Hold on GoM hills guys. By the end we had 5 NSP players and me in an omega. GoM sure had to bring everyone to the table to get it back!

sadly golems are too slow to go between gates, next time ill make 2

also, gg wvw, 40+ take a keep from 5 defenders and you do a repeat /sit. very sporting… and it still took you 3-4 hours!

as for the WvW guild that transfered from HoD. I wasn’t there for that but sometimes you bring a large force to a location to draw enemy forces there and use a small force to gain the objective that you want. when people see 20+ golems marching to thier land they sometimes freak and want to destroy them and call the server to do so leaving other points undefended.

but my question is why did they transfer to GoM. rumor has it they hate all of gom so why not transfer to FC or ET. anytime im in EB and reading the chat almost seems like they are talking down to GoM. im not sure what was or is going on at the time but when i come to eb and read " GOM " then the next line says " stay 2 feet away from me " well it doesn’t sound too friendly, and our pve players that come to wvw might find it offensive and quit playing wvw. now that the super mario box is over i see a huge difference in wvw. i would rather keep our pve community that plays wvw and has helped us win matches than to have a wvw guild that supposedly hates GoM.

They don’t hate our server (which is why they transferred to it).

This is my advice for all situations involving a commander and not to this specific situation.

A commander should never be rude or talk down to people. That’s the fastest way to end up alone in the field wondering why no one follows you. If you think it’s a really big problem and somethin needs to get done, try talking privately (and politely) to the commander about what you think the problem is. Can take screenshots and we can bring it up at the meeting, though we ultimately can’t make anyone change their behaviour.

I can’t speak to which commanders you are talking about or what strategies went through their head but usually commanders that are angry ‘cause they’re doin somethin that doesn’t work learn better or quit playing, I find. On top of that I find golem rushes kinda binary. Either they work and you’re in through the gates or all the golems melt. Not every golem rush can succeed. A couple days ago we managed to wipe 9 of NSP’s golem at our garrison just because we correctly guessed which gate they were gonna attack (all 4-5 arrow carts were at one gate). Life goes on for us and NSP. WvW is a lot about trying things. Sometime these things work.

I know this is a crazy concept, but if you have a question for Zombie Land, you could try asking Zombie Land, instead of posting on the match-up thread. Certainly don’t repeat unsubstantiated rumors like they are true (It is quite obvious that Zombie Land does not hate GoM).

WvW is as much about morale as it is about tactics, and these sorts of “call-outs” only make things worse for everyone. We are all on the same team, whether we like it or not, so we need to learn to work with each other.

The relatively drama-free nature of the GoM community has been great, it is worth protecting.

Had a good small little fight with NSP today in DR BL, when there where only two of you and about three of us, you held out pretty well. It was fun fighting you two, hope to fight the both of you again sometime.
