Well, this could have been worse. DiVa had a fun reset in Vizu borderlands. And more proof how important coverage is. During primetime, Vizu wasn’t any stronger than us.

I hope that Vizu will stay out in the open for fights once they have their upgrades in during the night/morning.

We had a decent reset in Gandara borderland, lots of enemies to fight and good skill level. VZ had a lot of people, and very good coordination, we did what we could to fight them wave after wave

Let’s hope they wont bunker in T3 towers and keeps later during the week!

At first we we thought we wouldn’t see much from Gandara on this map but it was nice to see Diva, Ctnk later and others groups.
Saw a good number of roamers too, with a frustrating/kitenning thief duo.

Hope you’ll still have fun this week, as usual we will have more guilds running in prime after the week end.

I loved when Gandara zerg, Vizu zerg and Miller zerg were fighting in all same spot in EB. More like that.

Only sad part is loooooooooooooong queue to EB.

During just 1 day I’ve had more small scale skirmishes than during the last week all together. Hope it goes like this for the rest of the week :>

It is fun to see how last Saturday VZ WvW was almost empty and today we have a couple hours of queue at the exact same period. I guess VZ prefers blobing against low ranked servers and than playing against same size opponents (SFR). Just saying..

Was nice to not have queues after the last week… in day time had a lot of fun fighting smaller groups.

I think it’s fair to say that most servers are like this. Gandara had a relatively relaxed matchup last week and we saw queues in places we wouldn’t normally ever see them. It’s the nature of the game, I guess.

I think this week will be a boring week >.< Vizunah fight only in Group and when they are 1 vs 1 run away.

Never spotted a viz guild, but for some reason they seem to find it very amusing every time they overrun something 60 vs 10 since theres always this /laugh emotion. Else they melt if theyre only double the size, as expected from reading other matchup threads. Fun at prime time, when they cant hold the t3 stuff they get at night. Heard SFR is a good server? Hoping to meet them next. Seen some ok german guilds at least Would be nice to meet more of those in fights. But seriously, I cant recall one viz guild? -.- Come out please

Well we held up pretty well in prime time and after this evening.

It’s kinda strange, viziblob was actually coming out to play a lot more than they do when facing real opposition- but still run away whenever the odds aren’t stacked in their favour.

Gandara still has a lot of other classes and builds than the standard melee train meta and were actually standing up pretty well considering they are not used to facing 2-4 times their numbers.

Was fun killing dollies and capping camps and generally having a laugh around their towers, not so much fun when their entire zerg chases you across the map (although great from a team perspective, I’m keeping 50-60 viz busy).

Thanksu random Millers at the spawntower @ GBL, was fun poking the Vizus with you. I didn’t try to take your catas down when I ran in the middle of you, I was just trying to aoe the AC that was on top of the wall :< We also figured that the ram barricade would keep you safe from their evil force, but sadly it didn’t quite work. We tried to hold them as long as we could, but we just couldn’t keep them occupied long enough for you to cap. Sadface.

For some Vizu guild its hard to come with all this pve farmer… I dont want to offense you, but isnt really funny for serious player :cant really play in guild and nothing to do in night :/

But when we can come you are descent in afternoon, some time we have descent fight.. I guess.

Sorry my english is bad and actualy i’m little bored in WvW, i dont enjoy chase a low number group only for farm(in night…)… I have pve for this.

Small weekend wipe compilation.

Haven’t seen a Vizu guild with less than 30 people yet sadly. Not a lot of fun for organised roam guilds. Is Vizu a zerg server who doesn’t like competitive play and fun guild brawls? If so, why not? :/

Viz guilds usually start raiding on mondays.
And Viz guilds wont come out a lot for this matchup i believe. When the map is green, there’s nothing to do.

Just keep in mind Gandara doesn’t care about points, so even if the maps are green we will be there, we just want good open field fights!

Even if it looks like an easy match up we had a lot of good fights against Gandara and Miller’s Sound, You have a lot of good players in open field combat.

Envious of your match up. Led more days and longer raids against viz. Suited our ethos perfectly. Swap jade sea for viz. Jade sea have the lowest skill level in game and without a doubt the most yellow bellied. Getting a fight, even 25-30 vs 60+ is like getting blood from a stone. They have no aggression in them at all. You wipe em they hide or map change.

I hope viz, the viz we fought, battles won and lost, never lose that aggression. The fun hadin that week will be hard to repeat. The sixth and final installment of the video tribute to that week is finished, gck et all take a look :-)

Hi there ! I’m from Vizu, and I need to say I’m really amazed about your fighting spirit. For most of us, when the M.U is lost, nobody cares about WvW (we try to fix that, but it’s hard). But you come and come again, trying good move and I must say some of them are great succes, never afraid of being stomp by our zerg 50+ even if you’re outnumbered. You have my genuine respect for that.

After summer maybe yes hehe. But before, it was the contrary; Never surrender. Like you say, must fix this asap

Had a lot of fun in this match-up so far from a Gandara point of view, even though Vizunah have a massive lead and I wake up to Vizunah having a three t3 keeps on EB every day it’s still great fun trying to recapture it until about 1pm, and prime time has been really fun too when Gandara and Millers actually have enough.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by Vizunah this match, I’ve seen and heard a lot about your siege ways and been terrible in the open field but so far this week you’ve impressed me more than SFR did the last time we faced them. Hope Vizunah can win the gold league as they deserve in more than most.

We had some a-m-a-z-i-n-g fights yesterday on VZ border (I’m sad that I didn’t record the one on north camp: at the end I had to refresh my food buffs!).

Today we had few YaKs on Gandara border, but we had many fellow Gandarans join us on TS and we did good against VZ zergs and guilds, and managed to get back most of the borderland.
Gandara is really getting in shape for the season, good job everyone!

We had some awesome action on VZ border yesterday evening. Thanks for the amazing battles you both gave us in Dreadfall Bay. It was a great thing for us to be able to finally cap the bay back to t0, but you sure gave us a hell of a time there. We from [NO] used the claim as a breakpoint for our evening raid so I guess you had no problem in getting it from us.

Thanks also for the nice guild-vs-blob fights and my respect to DYE who don’t die easily.

I dont like Vizu at all because of zombie kind gameplay but at this match up we had great opportunity to meet [Run] and [VM]. both guilds give us really hard time. I hope we meet at open before reset

Viz definitely slacking this week on the amount of siege built- did you run out of superior AC blueprints, or are you keeping them for next week? The 5 superior rams against t1 doors might have been a bit much though, as is the huge 2am blob finally taking our keep.

It’s been quite a fun week with Gandara’s pugs getting noticably more organised as the week has gone on and (dare i say it) some of the zerker built pve scrubs finally learning to use some wvw useful skills and even changing a trait or two or an armor piece or two so they are not instant res bait…
