Oh DR… some things never change.

IoJ most definitely has though. I havent necessarily seen any big transfers to them that I am aware of, but they are an entirely different beast now.

IoJ, I suggest being like a cat with its prey! Play with them (DR), toss them around a bit, and bat them from side to side before devouring them.

From what I have read on these forums, FC should be throwing out some great roaming squads, so that should be fun!

I came across an uplevel in a golem, cheerfully marching along. Pondering about the strangeness of a golem so far away from his home, the joyriding uplevel then charged (rather slowly) at me, and… well…

I have no idea what he was doing, but I’m sure he had fun up until we killed him. Poor golem.

I must be missing something. IoJ here and everyone seems really nice in WvW. You can’t really blame us for playing at the times we do. I also have no idea why anyone would try and say that x server is bad because no one solo roams. That is just stupid. Heck I was solo roaming the last time I was on and got a few player kills, flipped some guard points (or w/e you call them, still kinda new), and killed some dolyaks. Obviously the zergs will stand out, but it doesn’t mean that is all the exists :/

Joey is IoJ. And he is a very good roamer. He usually comes to the fight club, so you will see him there. Read the post from above that is calling all IoJ a zerg server. I am on DR, not IoJ. I am pretty sure you will see some competent DR players soon, don’t worry:)
I am not one of them;) I am just a scout, so I run away very quickly:D

Most roam in BL. Look for Bsty and Edge and Oink for good solo/small group roamers.
Haven’t seen NoQQ in a while, but they will blast.

DR why must we start the name calling and poo flinging so early in our match up? At least DH and SF were respectful towards us. You all just act childish cause we night cap you. I guess ill need to repeat myself. It has happened to every server we’ve ever faced, not just you. and if you dont care about points so much, why must you complain about us night capping, and “Zerging”, our “Zergs” are still smaller then DHs ever were.

Darek and I fought and he bested me twice. Convinced me to change up my build a bit. Good fights!

My issue with Ioj is pretty simple…

I know of exactly 2 players that dont run in groups of 5-10(during my time to play), its a mes thief combo from Hard I believe… kudos to them for doing so… be nice if I could get a 1 on1 from them when nothing is going on, mes would still beat me (havent figured out how to beat that class since I dont really have burst) I think the thief would be fun fight though.

Other than thats I get zerged constantly till I have to join a zerg to have a chance at a fight… I hate fighting in a zerg its just not that fun most nights.

Oh and the obnoxious arrogant night shifters (that post here) that love to brag about capping our map after we’ve gone to sleep… we both know DR has a large population disadvantage after a certain time… you have better coverage you will win this week… when we have even numbers points are usually close…

The lack of small numbers fights, coupled with the obnoxious night shift makes fighting Ioj about as enjoyable as a root canal.

I play for enjoyment not to crush people or “WIN” the game, or prove how big my kitten is.

Thats about all I have to say on the matter I know IOJ has many good people and skilled players but the above makes me not care… didnt help last night having 5 tornados on the ground and 9 inches rain in 3 hours kept me stressed.

I’m on IoJ and play to win. I prefer solo scouting, but so far in this matchup it’s been very challenging to do so. Our BL was contested for all of the six hours I was on today by groups ranging from 3-40. I had one 1v1 today (engie who smoked me, realised later I had equipped a 39 rare gs on my 72 ranger; that’s what I get for loving the Jotun skin too much to run anything else) despite being solo most of the time. I did join in what it seems passes as a zerg on lower tiers (around a dozen) twice, but we were very outnumbered and lost as much as we won. I won’t hand you an easy victory, so expect it to get harder. Don’t be mad, though, get better.

First time I won a blueprint for a golem, I walked him around until I hit a group. Same results.

Pro tip since IoJ did night cap us at times but we tend to slow them down by trying to only hold what we could with what numbers we had. say thing like IOJ INC SM +30 4golems at SE outer will help get a few there to slow them down as others come.

Why DR? Everyone knows you have the numbers and coverage to beat them.

I myself would like to see you go up against EB, SoS or maybe BP. I think a lot of people on your server would realize by then you are not much more than another zergling server without much going for you but numbers.

No one complained about night capping, we just responded to the kitten talking and chest thumping that you guys did after your night capping. Look at our threads with GoM, they night capped every day and no one cared cause they kept it quiet and even admitted that it was the only reason they were winning.

<3 you too. I think we should be friends. I’ll hit you up when I’m on and I’ll get you your 1v1’s. Thief is probably Rag or maybe Hunts, as we don’t run too many backstabbies. The mesmers however would be HARD to narrow down. As we love our scouting portal bombers. Beware of Sir Toady. Demerz is a beast too. Oh and Saywra. A few others as well.

But please, for the sake of honesty…stop implying that DR is vacant during Oceanic hours.You guys and gals were outmanned maybe twice last night. Both DR and FC held their Keeps more than once last night. I’d venture to say that FC may have had more people than DR at one time, but it wasn’t for very long. And we ran many, many flip teams on all maps for the precious solid blue map screenshots. We always do. We always have scouts everywhere, and we communicate extremely well. We have many, many roamers. Darkhaven taught us a valuable lesson with the 30 second window of tearing through a gate before the swords pop. There’s a reason DH accused IoJ of spying on them…it’s not because they have a troll on their map…it’s because IoJ has eyes everywhere. And we respond in force.

DR outlasted IoJ against EB, SBI, Zerguuma and a few others when we where together up in t4/t5 (can’t remember if it was t4 or not) but you guys stuck it out with the bigger servers while we made our way to t6. Then you dropped to t7. Be it on purpose or not is irrelevant. What is relevant is the insane amount of crap DR talked back then about IoJ. Month after month. The tables have turned…and now we’re the jerks? Sorry but I do believe we have earned the right.

We’ve always liked fighting you guys, but the “IoJ plays for second/IoJ hides behind the mega server and picks on whoever is left” crap is out the window. Now it’s us. At last. Your NA will prolly roll our NA during the week. But don’t QQ because you all “go to sleep” at the same time and we dont. IoJ has been a Oceanic/SEA server since Beta.

Both servers deserve this match. So let’s just enjoy it.

Caveat @ Ooz: The timestamp in my screenies are server time. I’m in Hawaii. Who wants to get up at 6am to spawnlock DR? I like sleep. Use the timestamps to note your weakest times. That’s what I’d do, instead of calling names.

One player’s “night capping” is another player’s prime time. NA prime is NOT the only time that matters, quite often is the time zone filled with the largest portion of brain dead morons following the blue Dorito and 12 year old chest thumpers, they are the truly arrogant ones because THEIR time is the only one that matters, and anyone outside of their playing period is apparently ALWAYS bad, not important and arrogant? Hmmm I guess I shouldn’t expect any different considering America is the KING of arrogant, self righteous, stuck up, bubble world, loud mouthed morons am I right? Although I do know that’s overly harsh as I’m sure it’s just a vocal minority but for those that are vocal it stands true.

You mad bro? Typical responses aside, NA primetime tends to mean the most on NA based servers, go take your argument to EU servers. Also implying that people who play NA primetime are from America just brings your statement about morons full circle. I know several Aussies and EU players that play during NA primetime, and there is also more than 1 country that shares NA primetime, hence why it is NA and not American primetime.

Good fights in all borderlands so far. Ran into some good roaming groups from FC, fun fights with them. IoJ, since last time I’ve noticed you learned to not chase away from groups, but when you do, you bring 5-10 people. Never before seen a Zerg leave the down bay south gate, just to chase 6 people across the map. Literally. It’s been fun haha.

I’m aware that NA prime is not just one country, not sure why I would take it to EU given that I’m oceanic, but the fact of the matter is “NA prime” is for the most part always considered the time when the Americans are the most active, given the servers are NA now the thing that really drives me insane is that when this is considered the only time worth playing or the only time when score matters is when those players become arrogant and self-absorbed. this becomes even more apparent with various complaints on the forums in the past attempting to “adjust” things so as to make anyone who doesn’t play in the “NA prime” less valuable because its unfair or not important. one shouldn’t be penalised for the hours they play in a 24/7 match up. And traditionally this is the case with “NA prime” considering themselves the only important ones, yes they are the largest player base as its prime for a reason, but they are not the only players that matter, and they are definitely not the only players with skill, especially given they normally have the numbers to Cover various “weak links”. My comments about the “kings of arrogance” are more directed at a trend that exists even outside GW2 or most things in general.

It has happened to every server we’ve ever faced, not just you. and if you dont care about points so much, why must you complain about us night capping, and “Zerging”, our “Zergs” are still smaller then DHs ever were.

Talks about being respectful, meanwhile the kitten flinging was started by several members of IoJ who felt the need to chest thump their late night pvdoor as usual.

No one complained about night capping, we just responded to the kitten talking and chest thumping that you guys did after your night capping. Look at our threads with GoM, they night capped every day and no one cared cause they kept it quiet and even admitted that it was the only reason they were winning.

ANYONE from ANY server that complains about those that play outside of the apparent “only important time” that is the NA prime has their head so far up their kitten they can see their own teeth. One player’s “night capping” is another player’s prime time. NA prime is NOT the only time that matters, quite often is the time zone filled with the largest portion of brain dead morons following the blue Dorito and 12 year old chest thumpers, they are the truly arrogant ones because THEIR time is the only one that matters, and anyone outside of their playing period is apparently ALWAYS bad, not important and arrogant? Hmmm I guess I shouldn’t expect any different considering America is the KING of arrogant, self righteous, stuck up, bubble world, loud mouthed morons am I right? Although I do know that’s overly harsh as I’m sure it’s just a vocal minority but for those that are vocal it stands true.

I really like this match up. I have never fought against DR or IoJ, and it is very refreshing with these new flavors. I partied up with groups from both servers last night (while somewhat intoxicated iRL and everybody was really pleasant and fun to deal with. Kudos!

There. I fixed it for you. I hope you now realize why winning prime time is much cooler than winning against doors.

But DR’s prime time isn’t IoJ’s prime time. Our ‘night crew’ (which is really just the Australian 8pm-1am time) is a larger player base than our NA crew.

Ofcourse; that’s been well-established – but DR has a larger NA playerbase than IoJ does – and regardless of this, the fact remains that IoJ’s prime-time is not during NA hours – hence why your previous statement was irrelevant; as prime-times are subjective to their servers.
