As a transfer to DB during the free transfer period, I can say the forums have been full of hate toward DB. Before T2 it was always hatred of our SEA coverage. Since T2 it’s been hatred of our transfers. Unfortunately, the hatred is expressed toward all of DB, and not individuals, and that leaks onto the battlefield.

To me part of the fun of playing games is enjoying some kind of sportsmanship between opponents. It reminds me that there are real people on the other side of those red name tags, people like me. But there has been very little sportsmanship lately, and it makes sad because I feel I’m playing against spoiled little children with big egos. Frankly, if you are full of hate, or if your forum posts are, I fear for your soul. You may claim innocence, saying “It’s all in good fun”, but that is a lie. It’s a reflection of who you really are.

I don’t see a problem with JQ’s reaction with DB at the moment.
[RE] and [Emp] have a lot of beef, and it is JQ’s right to take their anger out on our server once and for all.
We acquired – [RE], [FIRE], and [OMEN] all from Jade Quarry. Of course they’ll be upset.

I for one, welcome them to try and take this anger out on our server, my guild doesn’t start in force until 6-ish PST, but i’ll gladly fight any JQ or BG guild out in the field.

Now, the majority of our server knew we weren’t ready for T1. The lack of EU in our server was too great to compete with strong EU time servers, such as BG/JQ/SoR.
Our only good coverage zones are NA and SEA.

So now that we have the trash behind us, we are interested in doing GvG.
We will GvG any guild interested, just contact me or Aggressive Broham.

Everyone on JQ knows what happened. The people who stayed behind held a meeting with everyone on TS when Raw didnt show up for the second time and explained it to us. Trying to discredit anyone on JQ in this way simply doesn’t work.

As always – EA doesn’t care about the drama. We’re taking this time to study and learn everything we can from our T1 adversaries and fine tune our group comps so we will be more effective overall in the long run. It is obvious that coverage wins, and sadly DB is outmanned – but never outgunned. The guilds you see in WvW this week, no matter how large the score gap, are the guilds and people that brought Dragonbrand back up.

@ I Bounty Hunter I — Fort EATG did not survive the night i’m afraid. After ninjaing it back and repelling wave after wave of BG/JQ from SE camp and Hills, the night caught up with most of us and reinforcements came too late. Was a hell of a fight though. Shouts to all on BGBL on reset night – definitely the more fun BL of the four imo. Bring on the fights!!

I think people still over estimate JQ’s EU time. However I will only post about the RE drama once. I do not mind that RE left JQ sometimes change is good, I do mind that there was no warning to the server or that reset night. Just leaving your server you are currently on in the dust on reset isn’t cool. Like I said not mad at RE but lost a lot of respect for them on that move. Either way Good luck in upcoming fights and good luck!

@Reset night last night, I was on DB BL, Good drunken fights for reset night as usual I haven’t been able to command as often as I used to due to work, but it was a blast as usual. I love leading reset nights! Oh, and at the end of the night, to the BG guy/gal whoever dropped those 6 omegas to attempt to take hills last night, sorry for your expensive losses. We were in process of logging off as the scouting report came in! You guys actually got me in to serious mode a few times on my field calls.

BG is just taking advantage of the fact that we are concentrating on DB for the weekend. Look at the previous matchups and you will see that while they are the biggest of any server population wise, JQ was very close to them last match and won the previous 2.

I can’t blame them for taking advantage of a rivalry to max out their points, but as far as a BG v JQ, both servers are pretty even on the field with BG having the overall population advantage.

Honestly I wish you guys would all get over the whole “Guild Transfer” thing – ALL Top 6 NA Servers got there through a combination of having a solid “Core” group of Guilds, strong Communities, dedicated Players (i.e. Coverage), and yes… Transfers.

If you’re using the server transfer population screen as an indicator then you should be aware there it means nothing. SoR shows up with higher WvW populations in time periods where they are “Very High” and JQ ends up with Outmanned in two BLs while being “Full”.

The population indicator on that UI isn’t limited to WvW population. It’s ALL population including our many PvEers. JQ has always been a busy server since day one. It’s the WvW population that changes.

I never said server population is an indication of WvW population and I don’t believe it is. As I said earlier right now WvW population wise, SoR has the most population in NA time, BG probably has most population in Oceanic/SEA time, and SoR right now has most population in EU. BG always admit that we have more WvW population than JQ now since we beat you several weeks ago, however we are not the most WvW populated server as some of you claim.

Yeah, I invited the Mags (what’s the world coming to?) Honestly, the previous thread with Mags was so much better… at least it was all in jest. This EMP vs. RE is real drama, and it goes on and on. RE holds no grudge, and I think it’s time for EMP to move on.

EMP has been asked twice already in this thread for a GvG against RE to settle matters… winner gets the bragging rights. And we end it there. Any takers from EMP?

I don’t think there is any shame in losing to a T1 server. We expected to lose this match up. We do promise to keep fighting, though.
