The meta has changed in the last few weeks. Siege is extremely commonplace, cheap, extremely effective. IoJ is used to using it against massive WvW servers (by comparison, anyway) in order to hold our own.

If we use a method that is effective (more often than not, anyway), helps us manipulate where you will/will not go, keeps our borderland mostly clean, then we’re gonna keep doin’ it.

The meta of “you have this many, thus you should do xyz” is bad and you should feel a little silly for having let yourself fall into the same old routine.

I left another game (eve online) ‘cause risk adversion over cheap ships you can actually lose permanently was preventing a lot of fun from being had. Even with the slight risk adversion/counter tactics in this game, all teams still have way way way way WAY more fun on an hourly basis. Life is good here. edit can’t believe I haven’t even touched the Eve launcher in over two months…was hooked kitten that for four YEARS.

well the week is over and although IoJ didn’t win I can say I was at least content with the fights put by both servers in the open field. Also by now I think IoJ has proven that we can beat DR if we want to a few times by now so there’s that lolol.

Anyways enjoy reset, I know I’d love another nab at NSP but this time hopefully without their kitten-sucking counterpart HoD.

You do it because it is challenging. Because it takes skill. Because it is rewarding to beat people who outnumber you.

It’s not that hard to grasp.

1) Thanks for admitting you outnumbered them. It’s an admission that it’s not really a fair fight.

2) You’re right; it is rewarding to beat people who outnumber you. And they did beat you. DR is mad they didn’t try a tactic that was more likely to lose.
