Why are people running stack weapons in GvG’s?…… Scrubs

Isn’t it like an unwritten rule that you’re not supposed to do that?

Pretty much, but personally i have never been bothered by the notion cause i consider it along the lines of food and oil/stone/crystal. I often encourage ppl pick up a cheap weapon to throw a major stack sigil on to buff up their stats as we do things that don’t involve combat with the enemy. The hatred towards them has been growing though and not many are willing to put up with the trouble. /shrug

What does that have to do with GvG? o_o You’re not supposed to do it in GvG because it’s supposed to be about equal footing and stack sigils create a small snowball effect over time. Though it also makes me sad that they plan to make it so if you remove a stack sigil weapon, you lose all of your stacks.

Oh, i was relating this to GvG because it is a preparation, and i consider preparations such as crystals, sigils, food, etc. fair game- but my sentiment is not shared with many and you depend on consensus for GvGs.

I haven’t heard of food being a no no but sigils yeah

it wouldn’t be a big deal except who the heck wants to wait for the other side to refarm their stacks?

Was lots of fun dueling that thief (I think from TC?) on the east side of north camp with mine for several minutes! Got lots of practice on a character that I only play like once or twice every other week, lol!

The GvG with RE though unofficial, was the most clkitten play and waste of time we’ve done with any guild. From the 20 minute waits between rounds where RE members rage quit and you had to find replacements, to your fellow guildies hard downing my guys after they went over to you to clear any stacks they had every single time we beat you, to you guys coming over to recount HOPE’s numbers and taking your sweet time to check out our comp (wouldn’t care but this was in between rounds and we just wanted to fight), the respect my guild has for that GvG is pretty much non existent.

I think it was RE. That was a funny night. It was in the TC era of ‘if you behave we will grace you with duels’ attitude and RE was still on Kaineng. Instead of just showing up for duels it had to be this big event and then it was a cluster kitten with line ups. I remember after an hour one of our mesmers got so bored he started pulling the enemy line up to see if he could get the order all mixed up

Looking forward to all the upcoming fights. Should have a nice group for reset tonight. See ya guys then

Yes, that was them. Though I guess I should give them credit for not repeating that particular experience. Then again, I don’t think they do fight clubs anymore.

Haha Jarvan sang?? He never sang when I was chasing them Comms were always funny though! But I remember him getting SUPER excited every time we would wipe a blob. Very intense commander. FA is a good place for them!

I didn’t run w/ them a lot. Only when BT wasn’t out in force, but I definitely loved the intensity level of RISE comms comparatively. looking forward to fighting against them!!
