Pretty funny to see BG and JQ paying guild to join their servers.
Poor guys.

I have yet to see anything more than rumor and speculation that guilds were ever paid to join a server.

There is a difference between helping a guild (who in all likelihood was going to transfer anyway) get all of it’s members over by donating/loaning gold to them and outright paying them gold to transfer to a server.

How about we deal with facts, supported by real evidence, rather than this crap that’s going around lately?

I’ve talked to a friend. The guild got 100% paid.

If you get a collection of anecdotes it is not fact, just a pile of anecdotes. There are no problems with offering help for transfers if they legitimately want to come over – I also love the implication that if you help people out and not be a selfish kitten it is observed as a negative thing.

It’s one thing to help guilds out to get over to a server, it’s a whole other thing to throw money out and start begging guilds to come over like your server does. Buying guilds does not build a strong community and does not help your server.

Considering all the guilds that left JQ either due to long queue or jumped shipped to bandwagon else where I would say it’s true. Of course you would have to take my word for it but I could list guilds dating back to October 2012 that have transferred off.

Since I’m not on JQ now I couldn’t speak to that. I left JQ because of the queues. I seldom have to wait in a queue now unless for some reason we are running on EB. I guess you must be running 2 accounts to know SoR’s queues for a fact. Or, word of mouth….yeah.

Intel ? I have no idea why aco and ward left. From that sounds of it they thought the grass was greener else where. I was referring to the early guilds mention as leaving due to queues not the more recent transfers.

was fun at hills for awhile there JQ.. wasn’t entirely sure we’d get you guys out of there you were dug in pretty tight great work defending

If you talk about the NA prime time fight for hills about 15 hours ago. I can lighten things up.
We had a tag from SF with 26 militia on pin and a group from EMP on the map for defending our bl. As SoR attacked hill, bg went for bay with a really large zerg. We defended both for a while, but with your ac hitting us inside lords room and couldn’t get fresh troops in the decision was made to save bay from bg and leave hills. We had lost both if we hadn’t left.

Anyone had problems yesterday with massive lag on jq bl. I once ported into hills while the fights there were going on, had a 30s loading screen and ended up at the position were i started – and had to run to hills..

I’m not jumping to conclusions that you guys are a bunch of kittening cheaters, there could be a logical explanation to this. Like even when you guys were running around the second floor of inner you still had the buff, I personally didn’t see any rams anywhere, though I did hear there’s a bug where you still have the iron hide buff even when you get off a ram, I don’t know how to replicate this.

I ll be honest with you, no matter the amount of psychological projection nobody likes JQ…nobody. This dates back from when JQ used to constantly block the Jumping Puzzle back in the days with 10 vs 1 at the entrance. This attracted a lot of people to JQ, people who enjoyed this type of behavior but were not that good in wvw.

From then on they made enemies from acting like kittenbags. Nothing has changed yet and the only thing JQ has left is paying guilds to come to their server so they can say they are T1 material…but they are not and their reputation still follows them.

For a long time JQ had relied on SoR but that changed some time ago when SoR decided to not carry JQ anymore. There is a reason JQ never ever gets the number 1 spot and it should be pretty clear by now.

JQ does not belong in T1…it never did and JQ will always a bad reputation unfortunately

1. Actually I like JQ
2. After I was knocked off the jump puzzle relentlessly it was fun to return with some buddies and dish out some payback.
3. We don’t need to say that we are T1 material, because we just are.
4. JQ really doesn’t rely on SOR nor does SOR rely on JQ, they are both top-notch servers that can stand on their own 2 feet.

1. I like JQ. This disproves your statement about no one liking JQ. I also like BG and SoR. They are very strong opponents.
2. JQ has been a T1-strengh server since launch. Feel free to look it up.
3. You have an awful lot of posts complaining about skill lag, jumping puzzles, ANet, WvW, etc. Doesn’t make you look good.
