The IOJ tears in this thread is just golden. Glad to see when faced with even numbers IOJ gets smashed like the trash they are. Must suck when your oceanics can’t cap the entire zone and upgrade everything for the NA’s every night like they did vs DR.

Hmmmm. This former DR player appears to haz an angry. Show us on the doll where the bad IOJ people touched you in the previous match ups. Other than perhaps benefiting from some counseling for PTSD, you’re funny and deserve a cookie…but it’s friday and we’ve eaten them all. Would a grahm cracker suffice??

Judging from the responses I’ve seem to hit a nerve on IOJ. Poor keyboarding turning zerglings struggling don’t worry kids match up changes tonight pray you get against lower population servers!

I know your head starts to hurt when you actually have to think in WvW hopefully Anet realizes that and throws your garbage server a bone.

Better late than never, but thanks & much respect to the [Kiwi] Guild for the GvG as well as the practice rounds afterwards to let the newer people test their sand. Was fun, and it’s refreshing to see Guilds change tactics up as the rounds go on. Good game, and best of luck in your next matchup.

And yes, it is a game where you get to be silly and have a good time. At the same time, though, someone has spent hours motivating, training, and teaching people to do something as a group. Losing isn’t fun, and it is childish to add numerous insults after injury. That’s what gets people kittened off.

Either that or your entire guild is full of trolls and you can only keep 95% of them from being kittens both in-game and on the forums. Either way, you are giving yourself a bad reputation.

I can say for certain almost all of what you are talking about was done by 1 to 2 people in the guild.

and yet in this thread alone I can count more then 1-2 forum trolls. To be honest I don’t find anything wrong with trolling but know some bounds man…I mean seriously starting drama in games is just ridiculous and nobody wants to deal with it.

Also when a guild has leaders that are doing the trolling then what do you expect those ranked under them to do? Don’t encourage it, lead by example and maybe one day you too can have friends

You know, I was hoping DDLG would have changed a bit more when they hopped servers. Doesn’t look like it. Great job, you beat us in the GvG against a guild that has done 2 practice runs in GvG, including this one.

I went into this GvG with about 2 hours notice that you all wanted to do one. I thought it would be a friendly practice run. Darkestshadows seemed like a laid-back guy that wasn’t going to troll us if we lost.

But while losing, we had people dancing on our corpses, t-bagging us, throwing build sites on our bodies, and representing troll guild names. During all of this your spectators were spamming emotes 90% of the time. If this was a “friendly” match, I wonder what an aggressive match would be like.

Darkestshadows and Bluevalle. You need to realize that pretty much the only side of your guild anyone see’s is the trolls and forum warriors. How many times did DR get focused in WvW because of your forum warriors? How far did IoJ go to take your server down because of your members?

It’s pretty sad that your guild members don’t respect your leadership enough to hold off on the trolling. Pretty much all I’ve seen from you guys is forum warriors and trolls, then a few people saying “don’t lump me in with them”. Well sorry to break it to you, but you’re getting lumped in with them. If you don’t want a bad rep then make another guild or reign in your members.

I just know that if I had guild members doing what yours were doing, they wouldn’t be in CORE anymore. So don’t plan on doing a GvG again with us again. I’ll see you all on the open field again, where I have kicked your kitten with roughly equal numbers before, and I’ll do it again.

And just as a general warning to SBI – DDLG is going to give your server a bad rep, and kitten off other people who will focus you because of them. It might be fine for now when you have better coverage and more people, but I wonder how well it’s going to well it’s going to work when you are in the bottom of the top league and DDLG is trolling high-ranked servers.

I can openly say that in the field, CORE runs more builds than guardians, warriors and eles and have many individuals that have high skill. I can also say that just because you have a one trick pony (the bunker factor) that works on roamer groups and CORE guild’s composition doesn’t mean you are of higher caliber.

CORE happens to be full of more modest people many which actually run builds that don’t involve depending on guardians and warrior banners.

Os has been pretty modest about our wins in the past, but I think I can pull this out against you since your members seem to not understand a humble victory.

6-0 win in a 20 vs. 20 against you. It was our second GVG ever. So don’t you dare talk bad about guilds just getting started on the GVG scene.

We speed built so fast it was over almost right when it started. People could learn a thing or two from our uber leet speed building tactics.

Thanks for all the hate, crying and other negative posts this week. It really kept me quite entertained.. I know I failed a few troll post recently and for that I apologize, I have been lacking sleep a lot lately.. I will be working on my consistency from here on out..

There’s a difference between harmless trolling and making direct insults to people. This may be a game but there are real people who play these. And if it’s so “fun” insulting us every chance you get then I think you are the one who needs to take a break from the computer and learn some etiquette.

No insults from ddlg thus far have been directed at people. Just them in game. Even then stop taking these things so seriously.

Yes, there is.

My old home DR met IoJ on 5/31, 7/19, 8/2 and 8/23. I basically treat each match-up as a new start because (especially new) people come and people go, server go up and down (I don’t know if DR had any noticeable up in numbers or ranking for the past few months.)

IoJ people on the forum from different major guilds said a lot of kittens in previous (8/23) match-up thread to both DR and even ET. (old history, care or not care about points, play for fun, morale, giving up… and yet here in this thread) You can check that old thread on the first two pages, Gab and irishhaf’s reply near the top of page 2, and later two of my posts down there. (Quoting and replying the posts IoJ people made on page 1)

And regarding to Banzie’s post there about our people around the noon building an AC and causing an orange swords, I was on that time, I saw less than 10 or 7 people following our commander moving from NW tower to NW camp. Then our commander, not a familiar one, probably gave up or kitten ed of, sigil’ed down and left… Also it’s somewhat unusual for DR homeland security people to see even 10 people on map or at one site. (SBI has more people at home than DR, but… homeland defenders know what I’m going to say.)

On page 3 there, I quoted 2 posts earlier about the potential points and linked 1 post poking (DR’s) fun of accumulated points from the future.

Yes, I am sure that there are nice people on IoJ (deeply appreciated Archilese and AggieTechGuy’s posts there), but I saw too many mean people from your different major or minor guilds, some of them are also leaders, co-leaders, or at least senior members. Please go see for yourself, at least the first 2 pages of the 8/23 thread. (It’s somehow okay on 7/19 and 8/2. 5/31… meh.)

I think I started WvW as a trebber in EB in late February or March. I learned the sieges usage and placement by watching others or figured that out by myself. DR was usually in the blue corner , so I am quite familiar with climbing up the VK dome and building two trebs there. I also sacrificed a lot of trebs at Durios to find the best sneakiest spot. I refreshed them and answer EB commander’s (maybe Bela or Vars or Winters/Gab) call to man the trebs. It was fun regardless of our disadvantage. And you know what, Tots wasn’t like that few months ago.

Sometimes it’s mean to post a video clip or screenshot to brag or ridicule or something, but sometimes it’s a better way to back up your own words and it also provides some contexts and proof. I think most of the old DR did it all right, and sometimes it really successfully stop further kitten talks. Personally, when I saw something from a good player or group, I would just say (or think) — GG.

Seriously dude calm down.. First of all, 99% of the emote spam going on during your match was from ME all the /cheer/cry spam etc.. And it had NOTHING to do with you at all.

Also, I was the one who threw siege down on top of you after one of your rounds.. That had nothing to do with anything just to do it..

Try not to be so sensitive, everyone is just being silly having a good time..

Oh and DDLG good 1v1 with me during a break between your rounds… Too bad I forgot my foods..

I saw you emote spamming, but it wasn’t just you. I can’t say for certain who threw down the blueprints, but it was more than one time.

And yes, it is a game where you get to be silly and have a good time. At the same time, though, someone has spent hours motivating, training, and teaching people to do something as a group. Losing isn’t fun, and it is childish to add numerous insults after injury. That’s what gets people kittened off.

I’m pretty sure we can keep the forum warriors on lockdown, not many people even look at the forums anyways. DDLG has a thing with IoJ and pretty sure it is match-ups like this when the trolls come out to play, too bad they only do it on forums…

Either that or your entire guild is full of trolls and you can only keep 95% of them from being kittens both in-game and on the forums. Either way, you are giving yourself a bad reputation.

I can say for certain almost all of what you are talking about was done by 1 to 2 people in the guild.

and yet in this thread alone I can count more then 1-2 forum trolls. To be honest I don’t find anything wrong with trolling but know some bounds man…I mean seriously starting drama in games is just ridiculous and nobody wants to deal with it.

Also when a guild has leaders that are doing the trolling then what do you expect those ranked under them to do? Don’t encourage it, lead by example and maybe one day you too can have friends

There’s a difference between harmless trolling and making direct insults to people. This may be a game but there are real people who play these. And if it’s so “fun” insulting us every chance you get then I think you are the one who needs to take a break from the computer and learn some etiquette.

No insults from ddlg thus far have been directed at people. Just them in game. Even then stop taking these things so seriously.

Wiping a big group like that is something extraordinary… just like your night capping screenshots and 500+ or 600+ ppts — as your people said , “excitement.”

Personally I’ll try to improve myself and ourselves (not on the numbers or only on the numbers tho. Some of us are friendly, but not quite guild- or zerg-friendly). At least two of old DR strike groups were kind enough and willing to answer homeland seigers’ call to help. Still, we, or at least I, need to keep learning and improving myself… in various aspects.

I’ll do my best to stop or at least (try to) slow enemy down at camps or posts, and re-think my play and tactics. My small group or I can’t do everything in the game, but we’ll try and work with others. That’s the game, and we enjoy it.

Has there been any talk of organizing a double team of CD? It’d probably make the week more enjoyable for everyone, including CD.

And even if we can’t do that, can we at least agree implicitly that letting CD have SM (much less a T3 SM) hurts both DH and NSP?

I noticed several times over the weekend where DH was in inner of SM — maybe even the Lord’s room — where NSP probably could have made a difference by either taking CD towers or killing CD reinforcements, but instead NSP attacked DH towers. In my opinion that hurt us (NSP) over the long run.

Although I hate continuing this thread as this matchup is very over by now. Yes we have insulted how bad you are. Taking that so seriously is your choice.
