Nice fights on Gandara BL late tonight, special thanks to that JDGE warrior who seemed to like me.
Anyway it seems our numbers have dropped drastically as we’re usually pretty strong during the weekend, but despite some of the zerg-iness there’s been some great fights so far.
No matter if we lose this week, let’s bring some festive cheer into wvw.

Haha I’m guessing that warrior was me. Good fights, funfun. I’m hoping you won’t /laugh on corpses anymore!!

I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn’t get back to sleep, so I jumped on Gw2 and roamed a little, tried to cap Bay with 3 ppl and one cata and reinforced walls. Twice the Deso blob came at us, but in between there was like 5 decent players and a very good Engi to fight, much fun! Eventually they killed us though. Still fun!

I do not /laugh on Corpses, I saw some bad Sportsmanship from our guys last night though; like dropping Siege on Bodies, apologies for that.

I was that S/P thief from EXG who was hanging around bay and Garrison, you guys eventually gave up respawning and running back! I also met an Ele from a Guild I can’t remember, whom I had a fight with that felt like it lasted for 10 mins.
I’ve changed my build since I started playing again and I’ve been lag spiking now and again, so sorry if I’m not that much of a challenge.

Ooh yeah that’s when I woke up and couldn’t sleep then! Yes we got tired! Clock was like 4 in the morning… That was fun though, it was quite even though we kept dieing.

Sorry I met an AG thief earlier the same day that ganked me and then laughed 5 times and jumped on my corpse. I partied him and said wait there(got angry), and he said he’d “Whoop my kitten all day”. I got there and killed him, let him res and killed him again. He was good though, so I told him and we had a chat. Just some context

Yes thanks anyway people for good fights, always appreciated!! Don’t hesitate to jump on lonely people, might turn into a greeeat fight!

Think this was Friday/Saturday.. got killed by VcY running over me.. One stays and dances with err.. minimum clothing near my body.. Another kneels for the dancer.

No problem, I get ganked all the time as if it’s in my job description. Most don’t jump on me, I respawn ASAP or as of late I seem to teleport everywhere, not because I’m a thief – it’s cause I keep rubber-banding.
I don’t think you are the same Warrior as the other two I met earlier this evening, I hope they had fun taking me on with a few pugs and then 2v1. :o

I also spotted you Gandarans walking out an Army of Golems from Lowlands on EB, which tbh is nothing compared to how big our Zerg has been tonight, but that’s how wvw has been for a long while to maximize PPT.
I remember Elona Reach this time last year in Tier 2, they had so many more active players during most of the day; that we couldn’t do much to stop them.
So yeah no hard feelings.

And I assure you dropping siege, jumping, Laughing or sitting down on a corpse is not EXG’s style, unless it’s IRON
If you do all that combined against one poor gal/guy, it’s sad to see that kind of sportsmanship.

Like yesterday, was fun flipping everything in Deso BL from T3 (fully sieged) to T1. Only didn’t do Garrison because Home and EB couldn’t handle themselfs

I think we have 3 JDGE warriors in total on Gandara. (Rest is on Gunnar’s Hold) 2 of them are hardly active but there’s a chance ofc that one of them logged on for a roam.

G to the f#ing G, Aurora Glade and Gandara! I haven’t had a Stonemist fight like that in ages. Thanks for the constant frustration, lag and also the precious loot that was dropped. I took a break after… thought I’d get Repetitive Strain Injury, so I don’t know who capped it in the end but I’ll look forward to the next SM 3-way!

HOW THE DESO STOLE CHRISTMAS:

Every Gandaran
Down in Gandara-ville
Liked Christmas a lot…
But the Deso,
who lived just North of Gandara-ville,
Did NOT!
The Deso hated Christmas! The whole Christmas season!
Now, please don’t ask why. No one quite knows the reason.
It could be that his head wasn’t screwed on quite right.
It could be, perhaps, that his shoes were too tight.
But I think that the most likely reason of all
May have been that his heart was two sizes too small.
But,
Whatever the reason,
His heart or his shoes,
He stood there on Christmas Eve, hating the Gandaras,
Staring down from his cave with a sour, Desoy frown
At the warm lighted windows below in their town.
For he knew every Gandara down in Gandara-ville beneath
Was busy now, hanging a mistletoe wreath.
“And they’re hanging their stockings!” he snarled with a sneer.
“Tomorrow is Christmas! It’s practically here!”
Then he growled, with his Deso fingers nervously drumming,
“I MUST find a way to keep Christmas from coming!”
For, tomorrow, he knew…
…All the Gandara girls and boys
Would wake up bright and early. They’d rush for their toys!
And then! Oh, the noise! Oh, the noise! Noise! Noise! Noise!
That’s one thing he hated! The NOISE! NOISE! NOISE! NOISE!
Then the Gandaras, young and old, would sit down to a feast.
And they’d feast! And they’d feast!
And they’d FEAST! FEAST! FEAST! FEAST!
They would start on Gandara-pudding, and rare Gandara-roast-beast
Which was something the Deso couldn’t stand in the least!
And THEN
They’d do something he liked least of all!
Every Gandara down in Gandara-ville, the tall and the small,
Would stand close together, with Christmas bells ringing.
They’d stand hand-in-hand. And the Gandaras would start singing!
They’d sing! And they’d sing!
AND they’d SING! SING! SING! SING!
And the more the Deso thought of the Gandara-Christmas-Sing
The more the Deso thought, "I must stop this whole thing!
“Why for fifty-three years I’ve put up with it now!
I MUST stop Christmas from coming!
…But HOW?”
Then he got an idea!
An awful idea!
THE DESO
GOT A WONDERFUL, AWFUL IDEA!
“I know just what to do!” The Deso Laughed in his throat.
And he made a quick Santy Claus hat and a coat.
And he chuckled, and clucked, "What a great Desoy trick!
“With this coat and this hat, I’ll look just like Saint Nick!”
“All I need is a reindeer…”
The Deso looked around.
But since reindeer are scarce, there was none to be found.
Did that stop the old Deso…?
No! The Deso simply said,
“If I can’t find a reindeer, I’ll make one instead!”
So he called his dog Max. Then he took some red thread
And he tied a big horn on top of his head.
THEN
He loaded some bags
And some old empty sacks
On a ramshakle sleigh
And he hitched up old Max.

How the Deso stole christmas part 2

Then the Deso said, “Giddyap!”
And the sleigh started down
Toward the homes where the Gandaras
Lay a-snooze in their town.
All their windows were dark. Quiet snow filled the air.
All the Gandaras were all dreaming sweet dreams without care
When he came to the first house in the square.
“This is stop number one,” The old Desoy Claus hissed
And he climbed to the roof, empty bags in his fist.
Then he slid down the chimney. A rather tight pinch.
But if Santa could do it, then so could the Deso.
He got stuck only once, for a moment or two.
Then he stuck his head out of the fireplace flue
Where the little Gandara stockings all hung in a row.
“These stockings,” he grinned, “are the first things to go!”
Then he slithered and slunk, with a smile most unpleasant,
Around the Gandarale room, and he took every present!
Pop guns! And bicycles! Roller skates! Drums!
Checkerboards! Tricycles! Popcorn! And plums!
And he stuffed them in bags. Then the Deso, very nimbly,
Stuffed all the bags, one by one, up the chimney!
Then he slunk to the icebox. He took the Gandaras’ feast!
He took the Gandara-pudding! He took the roast beast!
He cleaned out that icebox as quick as a flash.
Why, that Deso even took their last can of Gandara-hakitten
hen he stuffed all the food up the chimney with glee.
“And NOW!” grinned the Deso, “I will stuff up the tree!”
And the Deso grabbed the tree, and he started to shove
When he heard a small sound like the coo of a dove.
He turned around fast, and he saw a small Gandara!
Little Cindy-Lou Gandara, Gandara was not more than two.
The Deso had been caught by this little Gandara daughter
Gandara’d got out of bed for a cup of cold water.
She stared at the Deso and said, "Santy Claus, why,
“Why are you taking our Christmas tree? WHY?”
But, you know, that old Deso was so smart and so slick
He thought up a lie, and he thought it up quick!
“Why, my sweet little tot,” the fake Santy Claus lied,
“There’s a light on this tree that won’t light on one side.
“So I’m taking it home to my workshop, my dear.
“I’ll fix it up there. Then I’ll bring it back here.”
And his fib fooled the child. Then he patted her head
And he got her a drink and he sent he to bed.
And when Cindy-Lou Gandara went to bed with her cup,
HE went to the chimney and stuffed the tree up!
Then the last thing he took
Was the log for their fire.
Then he went up the chimney himself, the old liar.
On their walls he left nothing but hooks, and some wire.
And the one speck of food
The he left in the house
Was a crumb that was even too small for a mouse.

Then
He did the same thing
To the other Gandaras’ houses
Leaving crumbs
Much too small
For the other Gandaras’ mouses!
It was quarter past dawn…
All the Gandaras, still a-bed
All the Gandaras, still a-snooze
When he packed up his sled,
Packed it up with their presents! The ribbons! The wrappings!
The tags! And the tinsel! The trimmings! The trappings!
Three thousand feet up! Up the side of Mount Crumpit,
He rode to the tiptop to dump it!
“Pooh-pooh to the Gandaras!” he was Deso-ish-ly humming.
“They’re finding out now that no Christmas is coming!
“They’re just waking up! I know just what they’ll do!
“Their mouths will hang open a minute or two
“Then all the Gandaras down in Gandara-ville will all cry BOO-HOO!”
“That’s a noise,” grinned the Deso,
“That I simply must hear!”
So he paused. And the Deso put a hand to his ear.
And he did hear a sound rising over the snow.
It started in low. Then it started to grow…
But the sound wasn’t sad!
Why, this sound sounded merry!
It couldn’t be so!
But it WAS merry! VERY!
He stared down at Gandara-ville!
The Deso popped his eyes!
Then he shook!
What he saw was a shocking surprise!
Every Gandara down in Gandara-ville, the tall and the small,
Was singing! Without any presents at all!
He HADN’T stopped Christmas from coming!
IT CAME!
Somehow or other, it came just the same!
And the Deso, with his Deso-feet ice-cold in the snow,
Stood puzzling and puzzling: "How could it be so?
It came without ribbons! It came without tags!
“It came without packages, boxes or bags!”
And he puzzled three hours, `till his puzzler was sore.
Then the Deso thought of something he hadn’t before!
“Maybe Christmas,” he thought, "doesn’t come from a store.
“Maybe Christmas…perhaps…means a little bit more!”
And what happened then…?
Well…in Gandara-ville they say
That the Deso’s small heart
Grew three sizes that day!
And the minute his heart didn’t feel quite so tight,
He whizzed with his load through the bright morning light
And he brought back the toys! And the food for the feast!
And he…
…HE HIMSELF…!
The Deso carved the roast beast!

Thanks for the fun this past Xmas Eve and late into the night on EB; from the big fights to the small skirmishes.
It was especially fun chasing after you three thieves (1 guildless thief and 1 each from TCHU and SOLO) around EB, while you went around hassling people. Also you can expect pay back from me for any bad sportsmanship towards me and my friends.

After being double teamed by Aurora and Gandara for a couple of hours and probably about 50 siege pieces being used by both servers, we’ve lost out EB keep. I would like to congratulate all our Deso players that showed our real skill, holding both servers off for HOURS while being shot from every direction possible and big zergs from both servers continuously pushing us.

Really amazing fight from our side deso! we got tons of lootbags and had massive fun. Really funny to see how the other servers nearly failed, even while double teaming

Just for the record your zerg outnumbered ours 2 to 1 (Gandara) when we got the outer wall down so we needed the help of AG in order to even the numbers out.

Was a fun fight, you guys had at least double our numbers (AG) so yeah, we double teamed. Although I have to say, we never spoke to eachother before it started. Its just seemed to happen.

But props to everyone, from every server for keep holding on. This was one of the most awesome takeovers I participated in.
