Well, you know how it is. Some people and servers get physically aroused at the idea of not good fights, but at easy wins. That’s why we had such a mess in Season 1 with servers tanking everywhere and people stacking numbers.

Seems strange that there’d be quite a few on them on BP, since there are easier-win servers out there (like FA).

Maybe all their fairweather puggles are coming out since they’re actually winning this time?

One thing’s for sure, though. BP needs to get laid.

As previously stated, been crafting myself. The price for lvling armor crafting is likely to skyrocket just like weapons crafting did when it got ascendeds. It has been 4.5 hours, and I’ve maxed heavy and medium.

I was leveling my final alt class (warrior, meaning I will have all classes at level 80) with the champ train in Queensdale (I also need money), as well as leveled him through a few AC and CoF runs. Then I went through a fractal run and got my first ascended fractal ring. Fun day for me. Tomorrow I’m hoping I can get that warrior to the level cap (3 levels away!) and gear him up completely.

I’ve been farming PvP. Did you know you get 5x the rank rewards since yesterday?!

I like EBay and CD… they have some great roamers and I feel like I always find good fights against them. YB is fantastic at defense but their open field fights were mostly won with lots of players. At least with EBay and CD we routinely find skill groups and hardened zergs. Void and the like have been schooling a number of our Pug zergs. Void managed to lock down our keeps on a queued BP BL map during reset. Respect!

It is unfortunate for them that BP is both hungry for a little league payback and IMO more populated.

Ugh, the toxicity on this thread is getting terrible. And people from all sides are just fanning the flames. This is a game, it’s supposed to be fun. If you’re not having fun, then please don’t throw the blame around the board on why you aren’t having fun. So even if Ehmry Bay does lose this week, what does it even prove? It proves that the opposing teams put up the better fight. Nothing more, nothing less.

I admire everyone’s enthusiasm this week, but some of these comments are taking things way too far. So everyone just relax and have fun. May the best server win, and may they express their victory in a courteous and sportsmanlike manner.

If anything thing this thread has been a source of amusement for many of us in Ebay. I’ve already stated plainly that we’re all but tanking this match. I have little reason to lie. Our personal forums on the other hand, the match conversation has slowed to the point where we’re discussing bodily functions now, lol.

You will of course find some of our more hardcore WvW’ers in WvW. That’s a given. I’d be among them if I were not currently comp-handicapped, and forced to use my laptop instead of my usual massive tower which is in the shop. Sadly, my lappy’s tiny lil processor would choke itself out trying to run WvW… I may try to visit the Arena in Obsidian later and see how well she holds up though.

If anything, the very fact you guys maintain we had some alliance with Yaks so long already shows that you’ll clearly believe whatever it is you want to, so anything I say here regardless of how true or not is no doubt going to be disregarded for the sake of saving face… and that’s just fine. By all means give our few hardcore guys still in WvW kitten. It’s good for training at very least.

You want to know the bare facts about this so called “alliance” you guys rant an rave about so hard? Between we and Yaks, we have two commanders, just two, that know each other very well and are friends. Occasionally during any match-up with Yaks we get TS messages from said Commander for things like, “Ay guys, some of my guildies are frothing at the mouth for WXP. Want to take turns karma training SM?” To which we of course kindly oblige, because well… free WXP!

So, this whole “alliance” conspiracy you guys are so furious over amounts to maybe 35 points per every other tick or so for a few hours at most. I’m certain this was absolutely devastating to your overall score… Again though, you’ll believe whatever you wish to believe.

One of our most dedicated and respected Commanders even quit his actual real life job to be there with us full time for cry’in out loud! Just yesterday when everyone was karma-training in other borderlands, a group of ~6 CD tried to take Bay’s northwest gate with an omega. Luckily I was expecting this since I spotted the golem beforehand. I rallied the few people remaining on the map and while they held them off with siege, I advanced from behind and had a 1v1 against the golem (lol), taking it down to about 10% health before I was overwhelmed by the 6 CD.

I guess it wasn’t the smartest thing on my part, but we still wiped them and killed off the golem as it tried to get away. If it were a larger group, I would have gotten someone to hop maps and tell the karma train. However, I knew that a bit of teamwork would be enough to drive off the CD because I had had a couple skirmishes with them earlier and knew that they weren’t particularly amazing players (no offense).

Moments like these are why I play WvW. Thanks to everyone who helped and to the CD players who gave us a good fight.

I don’t think I read the whole thread last week, but I’m pretty sure I never saw anyone write that BP was taking the week off… That makes a lot of sense, actually.
Most of what I read was people complaining about a 2v1, but if people were taking time off because you already secured 4th place, it explains a lot.

We use siege because it works, and BP lost all day on our BL due to it. Thanks for the bags. Teldec and Goldiy did an amazing job today in Home BL.
