edit: to clarify i am saying i am right as i made the mistake of assuming that the 20+ was meant for FA. going back through it seems that Nick implied AoN was running 20 which is a funny thought. The most i have seen of AoN at once is 6 and i think the screen cap of their roster shines light on the hillarity of the notion that they would be found as a group of 20 (pugs to blame perhaps?). Maybe Nick meant the 20+ to refer to FA, if not then idk what to say other than look into glasses mate.

Weren’t you supposed to be banned? We rarely run 30 but it’d be nice to have that many more often- It would be easier to face some of the blob groups we face on a consistent basis.

Cheating? Every part of The Great Deer Escape is made possible by the game’s mechanics. It isn’t a hack, or a glitch. It’s just unorthodox, and expensive. You might not like it, but that doesn’t make it cheating, even if it does violate your own personal code of gaming ethics.

I don’t think it’s any worse than +/-40% condi duration food, personally.

It is an in game ability that we can all use, like foods and other tonics. Like the golem in a box thing, if ANET decides it shouldn’t work in WvW they will remove it.

I see lots of zergs using spirit tonic to assist with following and preventing a leader from being targeted by having a bunch of them use it, they cost 15-20 silver to make. Where is the outcry?

I sometimes fly with my group as an eagle and buff them with the inspiration of an eagle’s screech. Never heard an outcry there either and the eagle buff is super OP.

I had a really fun 1v1 going with some Guardian from Good Fights outside of SMC just recently, up until it was ruined by some Maguuma who decide to start attacking us. I don’t think I would have come out the victor, but it was a lot of fun. Wonderful practice for trying to sustain with LF regen in a prolonged fight, which almost never happens.

I guess the moral compass of WWWers is even more broken than I thought, when you got 4 people defending tonic tactics to prevent the other guy from getting his deserved kill.

So, I apologise for calling you a cheater, apparently chea… euh… preventing getting killed by using a tonic and turned into a moose is perfectly acceptable behaviour here, so sorry to think that there were some principles at stake here! Continue what you’re doing, you should be proud the way you prevent someone from getting their kill!

We beat GF with lesser numbers multiple times when they were on EBay. The only guild that has given us trouble recently with even numbers is Anonymous Defender (hopefully they hold as high of an opinion of us as we do of them).

Anyway, just stop. No one who has played WvW for more than a month is going to believe the ridiculous garbage you posted.

First, no where did I state you had large numbers. My experience with you is always less than 10 people, usually around 6. I did, however, state that you gank stragglers. You are quite good at it, as well as kiting a zerg and then killing the straggers that over-extend. That is my issue. I don’t see you doing GvG against even numbers of organized players. I see you gank loners and pugs. Then you brag about it here. When you get in trouble, you run away with tonics. I don’t see other guilds on FA or Mag or anywhere else do it. Just AoN. Am I making that part up?

If you are going to call out some of our guilds, then you are going to get called out in return. I have never seen your guild do anything but grief. Prove me wrong, I would be happy to give you the respect you think you deserve.

P.S. We had an FA team hold our north camp for 45 minutes on TCBL one night. Just a single group. Excellent players. When they lost it they didn’t tonic up and run away. I think they were from RET. I’ve seen Ark hold the north camp and take larger groups too…

I just wanna add that spock is not a NOPE member, but seems to just be a fan I’m not sure what the obsession with 5v5’s is honestly…it’s not that I’m against them, I just don’t see the fun in preset numbered “get ready, set GO” kind of fights. WvW (WORLD vs WORLD) to me has always been more fun as large scale warfare, taking keeps, getting ganked, ambushed, etc: 5v5’s is why I go to tpvp. (Yes I know they’re different, but the fighting should essentially be the same if you’re doing well because of SKILL, rather than builds or food). I’ve also never understood the argument: “If you run with more than _ people in WvW, you must be bad.” Or.. “If you run from a fight you must be bad”. I’ve seen people from TC, Mag and FA all run from fights, it’s just part of the game (though I do feel like using the tonics is just as cheesy and lame as guilds leaving mesmers by the watergrate in Bay…)

That being said, if any AoN wants to 1v1 me for fun (or anyone for that matter) just drop me a tell and I’ll meet them I do like doing 1v1’s since I test out new builds that way.

If you only run with the zerg, I can see how you have never seen us fight on even terms. There are very few guilds out there that 1) run the numbers we do and 2) provide a challenge at even numbers. When we do have those fights, they are far away from the ZvZs that you occupy your time with.

I’m TC militia. Basically, a nobody in the eyes of most people. I’m just calling it like I see it. I do know that NOPE has come and saved our kitten numerous times in TCBL. As has CERN, DIS, NAGA, and PiNK. I’ve seen the AoN tonic use firsthand though. I edited out the mean comments – as I was being too negative.

@Winkin – I run with the commanders I find to be the best. That makes me the trashy player you guys love to kill. I’ve never joined a big guild as I like the freedom of choice to roam with whoever I want to, from small single group teams to large zergs.
