Agreed. Thanks for the great fights TC and JQ! The militia I had with me had a great time. Though we got wiped more times than we had liked, we still had fun. Shout out to RQ, you guys were fun to fight. We got you twice, but you took us out the rest of the time!

Yeah I was standing behind the gate. I saw it go down and saw all of you there and went “OH CRAP!” and started running…then it upgraded and i was like “an anet angel just saved me…”

Anyways, some REALLY fantastic fighting in SoSBL tonight! I had a lot of fun causing mischief moa’ing commanders I’m really looking forward to this week!

Hello good peoples of SoS and TC! I have returned from many days of forced meditation to once again bring you the word of our Lord and Savior, Jedsus Chris. The battles, bags and blitzes were all spectacular tonight but one such fight in the lord room of SM reminded me of a story I’d like to share with you all from the Book of Rainshadow, the Holy Scribe and Countess of the Isle of Sammich, Chapter 84,959, a follow up on a previous chapter chronicling the story of King Ravanaz the Bloody and Dr. Stormy Einstein Super Wilson VI, founder of the the Wilsonian Institute of Technology:

Many months and absurd court decisions later, much of the populous had come to resent their King’s interpretation of the word of Jedsus and the situation finally came to a boil when King Ravanaz…in what was a real shocker, declared the national finger and color to be the pinky and brown respectively, and the dissidents instead preferred a combination of the pointer and middle finger and the color pink. The resulting civil war lasted for 6 weeks before it finally came to a head in King Ravanaz the Bloody’s throne room.

The King, protected only by 30 of his elite guard was keeping thrice their number of dissidents at bay with the lord room gates, though it was obvious that it was only a matter of time before the enemies superior numbers, continually colliding against the gate, would eventually make it fall. Just as all seemed lost, King Ravanaz fell to his knees and cried out, “LORD JEDSUS! HELP ME IN MY MOST DIRE HOUR AND I WILL CONQUER AND PILLAGE IN YOUR NAME UNTIL THE DAY I DIE!” The king’s cries echoed through the chamber as the continual sound of the dissidents colliding against the gate grew louder and more frequent until finally the gate burst open and the enemy forces spilled into the room. The elite guard surrounded their King, prepared to give themselves to Jedsus to protect him, and one by one, did they fall until only 10 remained with the King. It is in this moment when Jedsus Chris chose to beget his guidance upon his people. A booming voice, that could only be heard by King Ravanaz and his men, began directing battle movements, leading the soldiers throughout the room in a glorious slaughter of the dissidents. Five minutes later, all that remained were the surviving 10 Elite Guardsmen and King Ravanaz himself. As the guardsmen sheathed their weapons, the voice took on a much more cautionary tone. “Ravanaz, you are a faithful follower and have brought much glory to my name as you protect my chosen people, but there is more to leading than issuing orders. I have no preference as to which finger should be the national finger, nor which color should represent my people. Sometimes I like 2 fingers with the color pink, but other times I could see brown with the pinky working too. Shockingly, I could see them all used at once and it wouldn’t change what my word represents. This is the lesson you must learn. I will leave you now. Guide my people as the true King you were meant to be.” With that the voice ceased and the King once again sat upon his throne.

Many days later, the King declared an end to all trivial representations of Jedsus’s will and declared the anniversary of the day the great battle occurred to be a national holiday, for who other than our Lord and Savior, Jedsus Chris, could lead an epic defense of a castle lord room without actually being there.

Tons of fun at TC BL on reset night. TC held up their side of the map for the most part and SoS is very relentless. Personally, I gave away plenty of bags to both TC/SOS. Special thanks to CNB/AGG/EP (SOS) + PINK/STUN (TC) – hope I didn’t miss anyone.

Included is also plenty of our own fail footage – all from my stream.

Here is how it went down tonight (lead by SG):

We started by pushing Garrison:
Failed Garri Push – 2.5 min

TC is very persistent and this will be a repeating theme for the night:
Wiped TC @ Hills – 2.5 min
Wiped TC @ Hills Part 2 – 1.5 min

At this point, we decided to give SoS side of the map a try:
Failed Bay push – 8 min
Take SOS Spawn Tower – 5 min (CNB)

But TC still wants to focus on us so we go back to them:
Take Bay + Keep Hills – 2.5 min
Wiped SoS @ N camp – 3 min
Failed Garri Push Part 2 – 4 min
Wiped @ N Camp by TC – 4.5 min
Failed Garri Push Part 3 – 8 min

SoS doesn’t seem to want to take their territary back and out looking for a fight:
Wiped SOS @ NE Camp – 3.5 min (EP/AGG)
Wiped at SoS Spawn – 3 min (EP/AGG)

At this point we focus on TC a bit more and SoS is pretty much pushed out of the map:
Wiped TC @ Hills Part 3 – 2.5 min
Cap Bay from TC – 6.5 min
Wiped TC @ Bay + NW Camp – 5.5 min
Cap NE Tower and Wiped – 3.5 min

I also have ~1 hour of footage from EB (lead by SF), but there wasn’t much fight going on when my queue finally pop’d.

I remember when I used to be on TC, we used to fight, not run, must be sad times on TC now with just the fair weather militia to back you up, but they don’t show up when a T1 server is in the match up do they? Sad indeed, I remember someone on TC telling your vets to recruit before seasons started, and your vets saying that the militia would step up and that you all could count on that militia. Are they stepping up and showing up? I hope so, we want more bags, nom nom nom….

I want to win on a big server too! But I dunno how to farm gold from monster to transfer =( One day I will farm a lot of gold and transfer to #1 server, then I can laugh at everybody else like all the cool people do. Kinda like you!

Good fights last night on JQBL thanks to TC for coming out! I logged off a bit earlier so I am not sure if SoS map hopped over but was fun either way.

If I waited and got a million dollars for everytime JQ stood and fought when numbers were equal …………I would remain poor.

One day I killed a player from an opposing server, then I concluded that all players on that server are terrible which made me feel really good about myself.

I also posted about it on the forums because I think other people playing the game really care about what I think of them.

SoS has the best solo roamer thieves of any server I’ve ever fought. Pity our zerg shows up and ruins it half the time.

Good video report. As for EB last night I was teaching commanders and PuGs that are new to WvW field movements and the reasonings why certain things happen in WvW. Something I haven’t done that extensively quite some time… must have been the alcohol talkin’, we’ll get some more fights jiving for ya throughout the week though
