Interesting how it’s turned out. My predictions for DB 2.0 last week was T2 #3 and it seemed their own wasn’t even that but I see they’re actually gunning in #1.

Kaineng is clearly not coming back to T2 and from the T3 thread I’m seeing more and more KN guilds transferring, to DB I believe. I don’t see the appeal of transferring to the #1 server in a tier but to each their own.

I hope T2 stays stable since KN’s night coverage is a lot less ridiculous than DB’s in terms of numbers. T3 is a lot more fun.

Thanks for the compliment, but in all fairness it’s really too soon to imply that DB is the #1 server in its tier…after all we are, as of this moment, less than 72 hours in. They might as well jump ship BEFORE it becomes entirely obvious how awesome we are, that way they get to say they contributed.

DB has done a very good job in attracting new guilds to their server, As well as FA. They seem to have better coverage now.Although DB seems to have a stronger presence in all the maps more consistently.
TC has not reported for duty it seems this week. Yes we do have our NA prime time, but our off hours is lacking greatly.
The EB battles have been well fought! and none of the servers have taken the upper hand for long.
But as you said it is a long week ahead!

I know I’m a little late on this….but Dudes!!!! Last nights battle for the Bay was freakin crazy. We get in….TC was set for a battle… We get through second wall…..wow, just wow…. Normally thats nearly the end of it. Well I die…come running back….get to outer bay walls to head back in….guess who comes a runnin out to chase us off? Mind you…we still have a bunch inside fighting it out with TC. Yep…Dragonbrand come to get in on the fun.

we manage to get back in….and its us on one half the wall…DB on the other half, with TC in the lords room. Thankfully we clear DB out and TC after, to claim the Bay. DB was attackin hills at the same time, which put a hurtin on TC defense of both poi’s, and probably weakened DB’s attack. They probably shoulda passed on bay… hit hills with all their strength.

Tho the large three way battle was pretty darn tootin cool.

You belong in T2…
DB, like KN has come out strong in our first match-up. They are putting the pressure on both TC and FA and have taken a big lead. (they out man us both through the course of the day) with strong coverage in all the maps. ( plus not all of the guilds have transferred to DB yet, so we have not seen their full strength)
Very quickly DB has become the Goliath in T2.
It will take both servers to keep them in check. If not, they will have a quick and easy path to T1. (not to mention you will be stuck with us for another 8 weeks)

this weeks battles with TC reminds me more of the first few weeks with TC in T2….and I gotta say…I like it. DB on the other hand….is different. I feel like we “FA” are the Older brother that now has a younger brother thats gotten the growth spurt and is much harder to pick on when mom and dad arent home, hehe.

The past two weeks of TC dominating the tier has lulled us to sleep. This week is the swift kick in the kitten that we needed to rise back up and push strongly into another reset week.

I expect that going forward we will begin to show our strength once again. I, for one, am grateful for DB coming to T2 and FA showing up. It has given the tier a much needed revival and I am back to enjoying battles, theorycrafting, and commanding much more.

Here’s to a long, fun relationship with FA and DB in T2!

It wouldn’t be a matchup without FA claiming 2v1. It’s no wonder some people want FA out of the tier….

Anyway, even when we were being blatantly 2v1éd guess who stayed in the tier and who is not…

Wow, DB is leading after the weekend? Must be a first!

It’s still early days, and we’ll have to see where we belong in this tier. The first week usually attracts more players, so we’ll have to wait and see how many numbers we can muster on an ongoing basis.

I’m happy with the level of competition in this tier. TC and FA use much more varied tactics than the T3 servers, so it’s nice to remove conditions other than confusion (lol!) during raids.

T3 doesn’t have so much skill lag and has smaller queues, but the talk-to-skill-ratio is really high there (cough… Mags… cough). So yeah, overall I’m happier. I hope we’ll be able to keep our place in the tier in the coming weeks.

Taking advantage of the weaker team is part of the game on all sides.
If a server sees that a team is outmanned they push them. just like any other team does. but there are 3 of us. so if we see it, there is another server that sees it also. This happens numerous times to EACH server during the day in EVERY map.
As soon as a server seems weak the other 2 are like wolves upon a lamb.
FYI FA, It was TC that came to your rescue at Langor Yesterday afternoon, wiping the DB zurg that was assaulting your tower. Then leaving!!! (you were outmanned)
BUT, we needed you pushing the east because DB was so strong at that time and we need you in the game, not trying to protect paper towers.
Was that double teaming? NO it was a smart decision!

I got to drive a golem yesterday that took out gates and survived! Totally a first for me. I’m not used to getting back my deposit...

Great job defending bay, FA. It took us forever. And those sneaky TC? It was fun.

Score update !!!
After a epic battle, 1hour and 40 minutes later we managed to cap bay. After a good sweep, we found a lovely mesmer sitting behind the gate, waiting for his team to ress him

Sooo much fun. We held for over an hour I think? And I WP’ed at least 3 times after being wiped out defending the lords room, always for one last desperate push. And haha [Awe] from TC being sneaky and hiding up there in the back of Lords. I think we might have been able to push you DB out if they hadn’t of been up there wiping our siege and defensive guys.

Anyways it was great fun, glad to see FA coming back from its break and giving DB a nice welcome to the tier.

KN was weaker and the score proves it (it was upsetting, you KN were a good group. Sorry to see what happened to you.). but you have to admit FA was outmanned a lot last week. TC had the advantage. Did we hit FA solely, NO. We were in every map! If you want to throw stones, when has FA pressed anyone but TC. You haven’t! Why? We have held the lead.

No question at all. Our turnout this weekend was in the neighborhood of half as many people as we had last weekend and the weekend before.

It’s really OK though. I think a lot of TCers needed a break, and we’ll be back in action before long. We’ve always done best under pressure.

That said, DB has been nothing short of awesome this weekend as well. Congrats to you guys on your explosive entrance to T2. Sad to see KN go, but glad for you guys as well!

Anyone who thinks FA is weak is deluding themselves. No one gets to T2 by being weak. All three servers are excellent. We all have diverse personalities which sometimes clash, but skill is not really up for debate here.

FA has beaten TC. TC has beaten FA. KN has beaten both FA and TC. FA and TC have both beaten KN. DB is currently beating TC and FA.

When i said weaker.. I also said outmanned during parts of the day! That does not mean a weaker opponent.
The top seven servers JQ, SoR, BG, TC, DB, FA and KN are far superior in man power and tactics then the lower servers. Tier 3 was dominated by them as each of them made their way up.
Everyone in T2 deserves to be in T2!!!!

This implies that FA actually cares about the score…. We care about the score, only to the point that it drives us staying in T2. But our number one goal is the battles we get.

DB we have had some awesome battles this week. It’s been refreshing.
