Now seriously Blob blob all over the blob!! :-p Holy kitten AM actually man more people during Prime time than Piken. Though we have ques but still we have like 4 guilds running in our BL but that AM blob is impossible. Nice fights with WBC, Fury and INC on bay in Piken BL. really enjoyable. TEO and WBC salutes from ex-WSR. ex-nE here.

We were on gh for a bit, but most fights turned into a giant clusterkitten pretty quickly, so we treated ourselves with a bit of eb.

huh…must have forgot the name the. Some guild whose name started with F was there for sure from GH. forgot the name if Fury was not there.

Couldn’t play WvW tonight, either stuck in queue or massive 6s skill lag due to 60 man blobs everywhere. Felt like T1 all over again o.o

XT – wiped, WIC – wiped, DVG – wiped. Conclusion :
Come back with 3 guilds together and… get wiped. SO good.

I’m sure Gunnars can bring some resistance in silver league, especially with strong prime time. Maybe winning this won’t be the main goal but looks like a good fun INComing!

i Have never played with such blob loving server in my life like piken,you guys blob morning and night….its NO FUN at all to play with you….the funny thing is when we fight you with fair numbers you always get wiped…cant wait for tomorrow reset,am sure sfr and vizunah will treat you good.

I’m a little confused. Your mini map shows a heck of a lot of players with you, particularly at NW tower fight. I lost track counting at about 50 or so…. Is this a case where from your pov in the fight it just looked like Piken had more?

In defense of piken I am convinced that they certainly had a massive influx of PvE or Less-WvW oriented players this week (this seems to happen everytime a server is dominating – although the strengh of the effect might differ from server to server). I very much doubt that we have seen everything piken has to offer – although they did have a high presence in numbers.

I don’t think I have ever fought a server that has such a high coverage and endless stream of players than Piken Square.

I mean they just keep coming and coming. You’ve just reported a 60 man zerg inc….and then you see there are still at least 40 players trailing behind it.

That’s what T1 looks like. I mean they can’t get more than 100 players on the map either and even smaller servers can get that during primetime. So the difference is how many players they have got before and after that – “Endless stream” describes that pretty well.

With the matchup almost over I think we can all agree that A-Net matchup system is very much kitten – putting a rank 3 server against rank 11 and 14 is almost as bad as the story of the last GI Joe movie (Note: I still consider us rank 11 because desolation deliberately falsifies their rating to play in silver).

Piken had around 20/30 players max tonight and we consistently wiped you.

Blobbadons came to a paper bay with 60 people and we had 20 and wiped you as you entered with AC’s and then straight after Blobbars hold came in with 30+ and wiped again to the arrow carts inside bay.

And the top picture was around 60+ Blobbadons vs around 8 piken at north camp with help from their gunnar allies blobs which alone had around 20+.

Thanks for the loot bags at bay! They never stopped coming I didn’t even get to go through them all before they despawned there was that many bags!

To be fair, Piken just has a lot of the usual fair weather players that come out once you completely dominate a matchup and bolster the numbers of your karma trains. They aren’t necessarily blobbier than anybody else. For the most part they just seem very eager to get some action. You see guilds holding hands from our side as well – it’s not a prerogative of tier 1.

Special thanks to MYA for some good fights this week (although most had a lot of adds and backstabbing from both sides). It’s good to see you in nice shape and running with decent numbers.

To everyone else, has been a fun week as far as i got to play due to other commitments. I was glad to see that both AM and Piken have allot of skilled roamers running around who like to 1v1, was afraid i wouldnt get much roaming done due to server blobs and all, with some interruptions aside it was a very good week for group raiding and solo roaming. We have been in Spvp this week it was no fun to play wvw against such big enemy groups, skill lag and fps drops aint fun. I cant belive someone finds wvw in gold league fun.

And yeah if u pin one team under 100 points its always gonna happend that multiple groups run together. Gunnars blob on video is just natural reaction on current state of match. No one is gonna give u loot bags for free we had to wp my 15 man group last night multiple times cos we faced 50+ piken sfrj lead blob on piken bl then we went in spvp cos wvw is unplayable. And i want to thank to EW guild for only one fair fight we had this week. Gl all and i hope i never see piken in this state in wvw again.

It’s normal that PS has 5x our numbers, they’re 10 ranks higher.. and as I posted a few pages back, it’s pugs vs pugs as most guilds are having a break or only raiding during primetime, for fights.. not for keeps lol.. we don’t have anyone holding and upgrading our stuff during the day, outnumbered buff until primetime on every border.

I cant believe the moaning from AM and GH. last night Piken border was full of your numbers and you say we have been blobbing all week. Yes we cover more and are able to blob in off peak as well. but tell me WBC and INC never aid each other last night at bay. There was another guild as well which I thought was FURY but honestly I dont remember what guild. They all came to gether to fight our open raid commander who had like 25-30 members.

I did not play this week through out and thought AM and GH were suffering in this matchup. I was wrong you only suffer in off peak hours and that is all you moan for. Every kittening server blobs when they have the chance. Piken does not blob in prime time when we have the highest numbers. trust me we can easily ruin your morale by blobbing in prime time with around 100 players all together with a tagged commander just like AM. No one will ever stand a chance. You shud actually thank us we dont blob when most of your player base is online or you would have never seen any good fights.

I don’t approve of all the moaning about blobbing because it’s only natural Piken has 5x our numbers, you’re R2, we are R14.

That said I don’t agree with anything you just posted, it’s QUITE obvious that off peak hours you are fighting pugs or PvD.

I didn’t feel like I got schooled this week raiding with CE.. unless we got squished by massive blobs or ganked by 2 guilds maybe.

I believe yesterday there was this community event thing going on for GH, which caused a big increase in numbers, we had a queue on home border first time this week. That may explain the numbers in video posted above.

To be honest PS is not a server that was some months ago. Now its a zombie server similar to vizunah or sfr. You can blobb, you can cry, you can do whatever you want. But remember you are still a statistic in my achivement Realm Avenger.

We were in piken yes, trying to get some good fights out there. Only thing what happened was a fight that started and 1 or 2 other guilds joining in with you guys.

We are more looking for open field combat instead of pvdooring kitten. So in the end we gave up searching good fights and started moving borders.

Vortigren is right. Abbadons didn’t complain once in this match about blobbing.
The whole thing started from a Piken players, whose post got deleted after complained 2 hours after reset that Abbadons was blobbing.
My answer was that it is funny coming from a server blobbing the same as Abbadons.
I said on several occasions that i have nothing against blobbing as every server does it.
it is kinda weird though coming from a server that is much higher than us.
It is like us accusing Vabbi of blobbing (no disrespect to Vabbi at all).
Keep in mind that Gunnars had outmanned buff for 20 out of 24 hours almost everywhere.
Not that it matters now week is over and taking the chance to wish good luck to Piken at the next weeks as i am sure and kinda wish that we will not face you again anytime soon. I am sure that SFR , Riverside and Vizunah would be happier than us to play against you.
Take this as a friendly advice from a person that was always fond of Piken as many of us old timers had Piken as a model server when we first faced you.
If you claim that you do not play for PPT then start behaving like it:)
As for Abbadons if things will stay like this we will face each other again soon.

Sorry it’s taken my so long to reply, I had to decipher what you were trying to say. Guilds raid prime time. However the game is 24/7 gameplay. People will group up in the mornings because it brings coherence. Yet today there were bigger numbers than us easily. We even split our forces in GH and AM this morning into three forces. I have ten people on me, another group was 8. The main force was around 15.

People can sit and cry in forum threads as much as you like. You see blobs. I see 2/3 guilds with separate tactics and goals going to the same objective. We’re not in the same TS channel. We do things deprecate, but the maps aren’t big enough to totally spread out. This is fact, get over it. If you want nice and small numbered, concise fights. Go to spvp. This place obviously isn’t for you. Blobs happen. Just because you don’t have numbers to form a sizeable force, don’t get kittenty with the people who Can and on occasion do.

However, I will say that this match up was totally boring for all of us. You guys had have it tough because we could smell 2nd place and all we needed was PPT. So we focused on that this match up because we could. It was a common goal shared by the server. I apologise and I genuinely feel sorry for you guys because that means we will flip everything where as usually we do look for fights rather than PPT, We’re usually a lot more fun.
