In todays news , War broke out onto all the borderlands as civil unrest riots and looting kicked up a notch. The on going diplomacy has proven ineffectual for the time being as keeps, towers an supply camps are constantly being over run by the refugees currently based in their prospective maps. Early today we had a chance to interveiw one of the Unpleasant FA Refugees in the TC borderlands . He had this to say …."GET THAT kitten CAMMERA OUTTA MY FACE ". After the onsite interview concluded , He an a few of the FA regulars killed the news team, We won’t share where we found the camera but will note that it required alot of TP to clean off lenses.

The Tarnish coast Citizens are still abit taken back due to the massive violence occuring from all sides of the map and While the Vacationing fairweather vistors are returning to their natural state of play (off in PVE land) The Milita Has once again been called in to handle all Agressors both Foreign an Domestic. I’m happy for NNK that they finally get to have some fights in their time zone. So for that reason, I’m glad we are in tier 2. It gives them a chance to have fun battles. But, from a North American viewpoint, I don’t really care if we are in tier 2 or tier 3, or 4. We’ll have decent battles in all of these tiers. So if the bandwagonners leave, so be it.

I would hardly call FA a bandwagon server. Anyways I am enjoying the battles with DB. It’s been a blast.

I always got the impression that FA WvWers had a lot of FA pride, and they were very much NOT a bandwagon server. I think any time a server does well, there will be guilds that join up, but that doesn’t make them a bandwagon server “in general.”

TC is similar to FA in that regard. We’re both pretty steady, just plodding along with the same crew, gaining a few here, losing a few there.

We’ve both got server pride…for better or for worse. :-P

You would have to include DB in that also, just because we got an influx of guilds before coming into T2, we would be here anyway…. Saying otherwise is a slap in the face to all the people who worked hard to get us to this point…. THAT INCLUDES WRECK DB!

I like Wreckdya and Krew, they were an asset to Dragonbrand WvW and I miss them.

But claiming they carried the server is a mild exaggeration to say the least.

Krew’s last week on Dragonbrand the server scored 255k points.

Dragonbrand’s first week without Krew the server scored 263k points.

Both weeks Dragonbrand was fighting Sea of Sorrows and Yaks Bend. There was no other major guilds transfering onto or off of any of these three servers during this period. Had Krew truly been carrying Dragonbrand’s NA, it would have been reflected in at least some point loss. Instead we see a point gain.

The core Dragonbranders were there, fighting just as hard against FA, TC and Kain when they were much much bigger than us. As for carrying the NA? You did you’re part, but far from carrying DB NA, didn’t even notice you left until someone mentioned it halfway through the 2nd week with SoS.

I also heard you had no ill feelings towards DB, and you’re reason for leaving is because you were tired of ZvZ. If those were true, why sling trash towards Dragonbrand now? Also, why go to T2 of all places to avoid ZvZ? Come on Wreckd, thought you were better than that.

Wreck and [Krew] as a whole were one of my favorites to follow when I joined WvW solo, as I usually do. I recall a number of awesome fights following those guys around and playing cat-and-mouse with BT.

But to say the server was carried by that one guild is ridiculous at best. I recall thinking, “crap, looks like one of our best wvw guilds left,” but it’s not like we suffered much from it, given it was the time SoS dropped down. It may have had more of an effect were we fighting FA or TC, but in the end, saying that one guild “carried” a T3 server during NA is just … stupid.

All good brother, EMP aka RE is having the same success you are having and a lot of people are hating on JQ. The only difference between you and rawbrah is you moved to a #2 T1 server and got it to #1. Rawbrah he brought a T3 server all way up to T2 and dominating T2 soon enough he will be in T1 and there will be lots of drama especially if RE owns our JQ NA guilds.

Don’t know the relevance of that quote you posted. uberkingkong isn’t even from Dragonbrand, nor this tier – i’m sure you knew that, but decided to quote him anyway thinking “gotcha, dragonbrand!!”

Fact is, RE transferred over practically when we were already poised to move up to T2. Their presence, along with our other transfers, only made us competitive in this tier. Is that a bad thing seeing as we were crushed by TC and FA when they visited T3? Nope.
