The glorious blobs are finally revealed. Some insane 60vs60vs60 fights. Now if only we could get rid of skill lag, i’d be thrilled. Good update so far though!

How can anyone play like this. Its zone v zone v zone. If you try and go around with your guild you run into a full blob. Hope this settles down fast.

I feel bad for everyone that took part in today’s Stonemist fight. No skills would go off and nothing ever happened for the two hours I bothered staying. Hopefully there won’t be 100v100v100 blobs lagging up the zones for too long.

I guess everybody is farming WEXP cause this just turned into some serious blob wars. I refuse to believe it was like this before. And yes my server and my map were blobbing today, seems hype has taken over lol

I think we can call this patch the viz megablob patch. 100+ vizlings running backwards and forwards in sm lord room mashing 1 buttons – what a kitten up ANET.

Agree, everyone is just afraid of running alone it seems.

VoTF kinda did try and we did good to some extent but when it is 30vs100vs100 its gets a bit absurd.
But then the whole zone sticked to us and it was just 3 full zone fights, and then people complain about skill lag in this forums… no wonder.

PS: If this is what people will be doing to farm those ranks, then I think i’m going to play less wvw and not more.

It was fun tonight but i hope it will be fix tomorow and back to play normaly.

I don’t see why you cry so much about ‘blobs’ both servers that we oppose do it to excess at every chance they get but do we cry? No. We just marvel at how close together our loot bags end up.

We over at IRON actually enjoyed tonight, no we didn’t call ‘the entire border’ over to us, we ran as a guild with our usual suspects, there were actually two other organized groups on SFR border during prime time today. It’s stupid to have to keep reading on here about how X guild runs with 9000 people. Yes tonight we had around 70 IRON on, but why should we feel bad about that? Just because X guild can’t / won’t / doesn’t get numbers on doesn’t mean anything to us. We actually often run with two squads instead of ‘blobbing’.

Anyway, nice looting on SFR border tonight, here’s to the culling ’removal (xD) and being able to see your enemy!

viz megablob has worked out the new meta. 100+ stick on blue and roll round chain capping – dont bother defending just uberblob as one.

I wasn’t online for the prime this evening. I just gave a shot on SFR map after midnight and saw this infamous. 100v100v100 is not just possible.

Like said above, I hope this is only for tonight, because of the euphoria of patch. Because it’s the it-way to farm ranks, WvW will lose a lot of people.

If I want to play this way, I go on Total War…

Farming ranks is pointless though – ANET handling this so badly making WARHAMMER look competent.
