You do realize that its reset night and you guys have a queue as well?

That being said SBI, our performance has declined in the past few weeks. We just lost garrison due to a lack of scouts and coordination. If we want to go further up the tiers, we need to focus on strengthening our defensive tactics.

We did have a blast in EBay BL tonight. Thanks to all the guilds who came out to play on all 3 sides :o)

If skill mattered in GW2 NSP wouldve beat us every time. The win goes to the team with better coverage. SBI BL hasnt had much in the way of q’s or commanders on reset night, but whose to say how the non-NA timeslots will pan out.

Just because you’re looking for ‘fair fights’, doesn’t mean anyone else has to. Our priority was keeping the camp, and getting dolyaks to Bay… not providing you with fair fights to keep you happy. If you want to sit outside supply camps sniping yaks all night, expect to get rolled a few times.
I find it funny after almost a year and a half of WvW, people still whine about fair fights.

It’s not your guild I’m talking about. And that camp wasn’t being defended by PuGs. If this game was actually designed well, a server would be punished on the boards for wasting manpower to come defend a camp with 50 people from less than 10.

I think this week will come down to coverage wars…and let’s be honest, SBI has superior OCX and SEA coverage (almost the same as DB if I remember correctly). Everyone does better on weekends, but the Thanksgiving weekend might give us a few surprises. YB will def put up a fight though and so will Ebay.

Great fights tonight in EBG. It was so boring the past week that One had to go PvP tournies. That fight with Void at NE SM was awesome. And that SBI blob…let’s just say the overall lag gives you away lol.

Shonie while i do mostly agree with you, your discounting something you shouldn’t. Remember many weeks ago (before leagues) when your server was trying to take our (YB) Overlook in EB while holding almost all towers/keeps/camps and SMC in all 4 maps with a nearly unlimited amount of people and near unlimited supply and it still took SBI 7-10 hours to take a T2 OL and 2 towers? That was because of well placed siege, skill and the dedication of our WVWers, if anyone discounts they might just be surprised. Am I saying Yb or EB is going to win this match over SBI? I really don’t know. All i can honestly say is may the best server win.

your belief in coverage is actually incorrect. The question for yaks bend, is can they beat you bad enough when they do have coverage that the time you do get a free ride is not enough to recover the loss. If they can beat you in primetime that is a real threat.

Also you should consider, if yaks bend beats you this week, they will have guaranteed 2nd place if they win next week, they may be willing to stay up to make sure this happens. You on the otherhand may lose second play and get 3rd.

to be honest when aspenwood faced yaks bend, regardless of end score, they felt like a better server just missing key elements. SBI seemed to play the numbers too much, YAKS fought against the numbers, were more determined, and more dangerous in a melee.

I guess will decide if only attacking when you are strong and taking advantages of weak points in coverage is good enough

No it won’t. If you win, it’ll be because you have better coverage. Maybe many SBI players quit playing this week for whatever reason. I honestly don’t know why we’re ticking so low right now, but people simply aren’t on like normal.
If you fight with an outmanned buff all week on all maps and still win, then you can claim you defeated the coverage.
If YB ends up finishing 2nd in the league, it’ll be because you only had to face FA once.
WvW/league is just an unfair mess of bad matchups, bad parity, unfair numbers, unfair coverage, etc. It is what it is.
Thankfully I’m leaving on vacation to Mexico on Sunday and don’t have to witness what this thread may devolve into over the course of the week.

And the outmanned buff only shows up if there is a large difference in numbers. Using only that as a measure of numbers is bad.

150 to 100 is not the same as 150 to 20. Coverage and population of course has an effect, the question is how much.

gems are meant to be purchased with real money, gold→gems is a side way. Dif servers have dif costs, but 800 gems is 10 dollars US.

Maybe all the top SBI guys are playing the ESO beta.

Before transfering you should do some serious research. We here at Ebay do have many skilled players and groups, and many dedicated wvw guilds. That being said, we also don’t have the wvw population like Yaks or SBi. Sizewize we are probably closer to Crystal Desert. We also have a very limited oceanic. Which doesn’t help. But that’s not really a problem for us cuz we come to fight for the most part.

Either way, i had a blast in Home Bl last night before my granny clock started chiming and i needed to get my walker and shuffle off to my knit blanket covered bed.
