I’d say the Hill Billy’s are much worse than the ninjas….

Risen thralls don’t evade while attacking, they don’t have a 1s KB on a 1s CD, They don’t have the hitbox of a gnat, they don’t have to be fought on giant cliffs of instant death and they don’t make you smash your mouse into little pieces…

but yes they will almost certainly be the #1 player killer for the next 2 weeks.

It was just a comparsion, because Risen Thrall is the enemy who have killed the most players in the whole game, I believe it was, that ArenaNet reported.

They bug easily is the only issue i have with them, i get hit by them before they launch an attack and aren’t near me and i get hit when i have stepped to the side and its completely missed. To bad dodging isn’t an option on most parts because of the level design (not saying its bad)

Because going left or right where these mobs appear usually means falling to your death.

I’m having loads of trouble vs these guys. Any suggestions?

If you have trouble with these guys kill them from range when at all possible. They run straight at you, two slingshots downs um.

The only times I have issues with these guys is when I’m trying to fight them in tight spaces, on my norn (my “SAB main”, in retrospect, for some unfathomably idiotic reason…) and the camera suddenly decides that seeing what I’m doing is overrated, instead, let us consider this wall or my character’s innards! Far more important for the task at hand I suppose….

Other than that, no, just think for a second… They have a pattern.

I think that might be a joke on their part. Either that or it’s because you can end up fighting a lot of them at once, or they’re killing people when they’re a.f.k. or something.

It’s not a 1v1 thing the entire AI of risen thrills is to swarm, that’s why one does not simply pull one Risen Thrall… Or as they say, “EVERYONE, COME!!”
