The ones in the boss room? I had an extra gem after beating him once, and chucked it at one, and it did about 50% damage to him. It might be possible to kill them all if you patiently targeted them while ignoring the boss. I lack the patience for this, but wonder if it rewards anything.
I’m not certain, but I believe only the nearer toads are in range of the gems.
Pretty sure the only way to hit some of the further back ones is to venture into the acidic goop. Probably drain you of your potions real quick, and that’s assuming you could hit some of them with the platforms blocking the gem’s path.
