Q:

What time zone is used for the forum timestamps? And is there a way to change the setting to use my timezone instead?

A:

Forum time stamps use your system clock and time zone. If you are not seeing time stamps in your local time, please check your time zone and clock settings.

the ‘forum stamp’ i.e. (about a day ago) uses the user’s system clock, but when hovering over said stamp, or any other part of messages such as when it was edited uses GMT time…is there any way to set those timestamps to our timezones? It would be nice to be able to tell when the posts were made other than just a 24-hour generalization.

I am afraid I am not that good at converting the times, so I would like to suggest being able to set all the the times to the timezone we prefer…thank you for listening =)

If you click on the time stamp, it will toggle between “A day ago” and “Yesterday at X:00”. That time will be in your system time, not GMT.

Looks like certain script blockers break the timestamp and it shows only in GMT. I could browse the forum, no problem, but there was no way to see them in my local time.

Allowing cloudfront.net to use scripts fixed it in Firefox for me.
