Q:
If I run a personal story mission with a friend where the next mission in the storyline branches off (eg. Further into Orr, followed by 3 order paths), how is the next story selected?
Do both of us get to individually pick the next step we want to do, even if they’re different missions?
Or does only the person who launched the instance first get to pick? And if so, does the other person also automatically also get put onto that next storyline? Or will the other person effectively have to refuse getting credit for the mission and then redo it to pick a different selection?

At the end of each story step, you’re asked if you wish to accept the story owner’s progress, and any choices they made. So, yes, if you wish to make a different choice durig the mission, you cannot accept credit for it.
