The Star you receive for 100% Map Completion should be account bound. It appears as an account medal but is basically soul bound. Also you can display the 100% title “Been There Done That”.
Kind of odd.

Showing the star on every character would be deceiving. If you are playing a low level alt then you probably cannot use every WP in the world. So think of it as a badge of honor for that one character that actually can WP any where. The title that can be shown on every character is a way of letting everyone know that you do have a character that has earned the achievement, but alas, no star means you can’t get to your friends so quickly on the other side of the world.

I agree with Sinta. I don’t really think the star should be account bound for that exact reason.

There’s a much more significant issue with the star than its soulbound vs accountbound status. The star is a horrible handicap in WvW.
