I really would like the idea to have a new main city over time. For example Divinity’s Reach is such a amazing city! Why dont switch main cities every six months or so.
Move Portals and the forge to a new city once in a while.
This way main city will stay fresh and all the cities will be used once in a while.

I would like lions arch to develop further. I know the lore and history behind its current appearance but it doesn’t mean such an important town of merchants wouldn’t advance. It would also bring more dynamic feel to this world.

technically it is, just ridiculously slowly for a game.

As for moving the main city around, well lions arch is the main city due to lore reasons not just a random decision…
