Guild Wars 2

In Guild Wars 1 there was a “Build Template” option where you could save and load builds, this was very helpful.

My Suggestion : Implement a “Build Template” system in GW2, it wouldn’t have to change the retraiting system much.

1) Add “save template” option to the “trait” page.
2) Add a “Load New Traits From Template” to the Trainers (still charging the 3s 50c) (but also leaving the option to start from scratch, of course)

Also it would be nice to have a “share template” option, now I would prefer this be limited to whisper, guild, or party/team chats, so map chat doesn’t get crowded with people spamming their builds.

A-net has stated in SotG that they are planning on adding build templates in the future. However, you’re likely going to see it in PvP first, because they have a simpler gear system.
