Guild Wars 2

Now, I know this is a very wild idea and so far there is only one company
I know to do this successfully, which is valve. That was releasing Source Filmmaker.

If you don’t know Source Filmmaker; it’s a tool that runs on the same platform as
their games which allows you to do a lot of awesome stuff; character animation,
facial expressions, camera movements, insert attributes, tons of effects,
all in a isolated environment and eventually make a movie with it.

I am sure every company has a sort like program to develop the trailers for the game
they made. And since I rather spend my entire day, week or month in a program to
make movies than play the actual I game I am hoping they might see a potential in
doing the same as valve.

All in all it’s just a wet dream for a filmmaker like me to get a tool like that in hands.
Not that I want to complain but the in-game camera is limited to the bone… and it
being an mmo doesn’t help the framerate at all.
