Devs never! answer in this section. The reason has to do with copyright claims. Arenanet is reading everything here, but if they react to it and then implement it the maker of the suggestion good make a valid claim for getting credit (money) for the suggestion. This way Arenanet can deny that they implemented something cause they saw the suggestion and dont get into trouble.
This isnt a big problem for this suggestion cause it is not new technology and more a request, but policy has to be policy.
Also it is against the forum rules to ask a reaction from arenanet employees.

Easy fix to that:
-Amend the agreement to prohibit profiting
-Clause that all works posted on the forums is property of anet after the date _
-Clause is only void if consent is granted by anet in writing.

Yes, I can use english to talk with another russian person, but it’s simple weird (and I’m not sure that I’m doing this correct). And slow. And not that literature, if I need some RP. Russian words with latin letters looks just horrible and hard to read.
Please, give us cyrillic letters in game.
Cyrillic would be useful for Russian players in game situations with dynamic action for better co-operation. Plus, it easier communication of regional players and will help the partnership and friendly relations in teams.
We need Cyrillic.
Having Guild Wars 2 in Russian would be a living dream to me – at least the text part of it. Though I do understand how much it requires to translate it. But even giving Russian players chance to type in Cyrillic would truly be a big help. I hope it will happen.
