Uhh… that sounds lazy.

I’d rather gaining adrenaline do something, and converting would allow us to be countered by other classes easier and give us a chance against other classes as well, its a win-win.

Converting a boon would give the warrior its own strength and something unique that the other classes don’t have, but the warrior can get. It would also help greatly in SPVP.

Sounds like a good idea for a replacement greatsword burst skill, with a bit of tweaking if needed.

There are some nice ideas but a few of them are too strong.

1. Sounds good to me but I’m not sure about those numbers. I would need to see it ingame.

2. Needs an ICD otherwise you can abuse the trait with adrenaline based builds.

3. Good trait but the heal shouldn’t be too strong because of the reason mentioned above.

4. Double duration is way too good for a minor trait. Even for a major trait this would be really strong considering the current meta is all about boons.

5. Good trait.

6. Useless for roaming builds, OP for team fights. Combined with boons (which you would be able to steal with one of your suggestions) and the high armor/HP you would be an invincible “revive-machine”. I would much rather see a complete rework.

7. Sounds good. Not sure about the exact numbers (they seem a little high against condition builds) but I am too lazy to check that right now.

8. Can’t say if OP or not since you didn’t mention what kind of trait it is.

I am hoping they are reading. We need balance changes next patch at least.

Not gonna happen. The next patch is for bug fixes, not balancing.

If everything goes right in the world, your enemy stands still and lets you hit them. (I can’t do that very often.) Its actually hard to gain adrenaline in real pvp combat.

This is an example of real pvp combat with a good warrior in charge, you notice it takes 6-7-11 real seconds to fill a bar when you don’t have instant cast things to do it. If your just using your burst and actually spending time to fill your bar, it takes a lot longer. However most just fill it and use it for buffs.

There is also that “2” second delay after you use a burst where you still have full adrenaline, THEN it allows you to use it.

Its not automaticly curing conditions every 10 seconds, your actually FIGHTING and trying to get the burst in.

It sounds like that on paper, but in reality it takes a good while to actually gain a bar in real combat, unless you use stances/signet of precision/healing surge, but then again your wasting slots on a toolbar defensively for a benefit instead of using them offensively or when you need to, its risk+reward.

Great. So we should expect a weak version 1 year into the future… kinda like it took us 8 months to get Dogged March. Or maybe they’ll put it 30 pts deep in tactics so you lose damage and can either heal or remove conditions… kinda like putting Destruction of the Empowered 30 pts deep into Discipline so you have to sacrifice static damage to get situational damage… damage of a level that doesn’t even greatly surpass the sacrificed static damage in most situations. I smell confusion.

I wasn’t basing it on how it looks on paper. I said some weapon/build combinations. Sure if you take your time filling your bar it will take time, that’s just obvious, but just basing things off of the unboosted rate you’d gain adrenaline at is bad. Why would you skip out on basic abilities that let you fill it up faster? As you said, keeping adrenaline high is beneficial for passive boosts, but burst skills are also nice. So it makes sense to want to burst and refill the bar quickly.

Also keep in mind, you can wep swap to burst more if you really wanted too, so it’s actually lower than 10 sec cd to remove adren (wep swap traits obviously help).
Anyway, even if they did add a cooldown to it, it’d probably be something low like 1 condition/5sec, or 2cond/10sec so you can’t burst cleanse conditions easily.
