I do not agree with the WoW style LFD at all. It sucked and brought out the worst in people’s personalities.

I do think it would be nice to have a tab where you could mark yourself LFG. Before you say we already have that, make it more specific and detailed. I open the tab and I can mark myself as looking for group for pve in such and such zone or I am LFG for TA explorable. Other people from the same server can see who all is LFG for which specific things and form their groups. They don’t have to be in that zone or in LA to spam chat or see the tab. Make it so it worked in wvw too. Much more fun to be in a group in wvw than solo!

Just don’t add the anonymous make a group and throw you immediately in the dungeon garbage that WoW has. Make it more community friendly!

I would’ve agreed with the opposition if I continued to do AC runs. But I stopped doing AC runs because I got everything I want in AC and it is boring.

Now, I can’t get a group that isn’t doing AC.

5x Warrior, 5x Ranger, 4x Elementalist, 4x Engineer,
4x Necromancer, 3x Mesmer, 4x Guardian, 4x Thief, 4 Revenant

It contributed greatly to even further anonymity in WoW, that led directly to people more and more often acting like twats, as there were no consequences of their actions. When you assemble a group manually, and you get whispered by a player that has quit your previous group mid boss after having a fit, you simply do not invite him. LFG forces whomever upon you.

If you have no time, or can’t be bothered, to waste 5 minutes trying to gather a group together, chances are, you don’t really have time to complete an instance either.

It’s not hard, as you said there is no trinity, it takes literally few minutes at most, you get to at least say hello to people as you invite them, something rather rare in LFG and practically non existent in LFR anymore. The only exchange between pugs in WoW nowadays are insults or loot disputes. So no, there are games out there that offer the tools you are after. Let this game stay clean, as it is. Encouraging people to play together, have fun together, and not just mindlessly press buttons completely disregarding that the other 4 in the group are humans not NPCs.
