Guild Wars 2

So I was thinking that it would be nice to have an indication on the mini map and the full map where you could see guild members are or even people on your friends list like when you are in a party and you can see where the party members are. I think it would be interesting to be walking around the world and see a guild member working on an event and you can go help them out and before you know it maybe more guild members or friends will show up and you can do things together. Partying up would only really be necessary for dungeons and instances. It would promote people being social and it would kind of work like wvw in seeing friends on the map. I don’t know its just something I would like to see and I cant really see it being a problem…

Is this a bad idea? would it be too much or is it unnecessary?

+1 would be nice and you can even give the person a toggle option for both the large map and the mini map.

Sounds like a good idea as long as it could be turn off. A few people in my guild likes to play hide and seek. Well I guess if you set yourself to away or offline that would solve it.
