LFG Chat Channel
Since I already previously proposed that idea, I’m “thumbs up” for it.

Yeah it’s one of the most simple things yet for some reason it’s missing.
A proper LFG system would be great, but a nice simple LFG chat channel would be a major help for people looking for groups and people fed up with the standard channel being spammed with LF etc.
It’s like the city wide chat not being in the game, it makes no sence.

Ideally there would be a superior looking for group system that makes looking for groups and forming the group easy and quick. In the mean time adding a LFG channel would be the best option we could get to reduce clutter in map chat. Funny thing is a LFG channel was part of GW1 (from day one I think) so it is rather odd that it was not a feature from day one with GW2 even if they knew in advance they would eventually get around to building a superior LFG system. Oh and by superior I mean some really great thing that everyone that plays the game will want to use because it is an indispensable way to group. Question is if they will succeed in doing that. To my knowledge no MMO to date has succeeded in that or even come remotely close. In fact a number of games the feature goes practically unused by almost everyone or everyone making they time and money spent on it a total waste. At least a LFG channel is something most everyone would use for lack of any other way to do it. And the channel has to be global and not tied into just the zone you are in. Given that it would be an official channel it would be bound to rules of abuse so that players can report players abusing the channel for non-LFG related talks like guild recruiting. Which btw could have it’s own channel too and it could be global if everyone who would use it thins that it should be.
