Guild Wars 2

In PvE it would be nice to have the option to see where other nearby players are on the compass map like you can in WvWvW. This would likely make maps feel less empty and give people the opportunity to group up. I am not talking about over the entire map, just in your surrounding area, just like WvWvW.

I would suggest if this is implemented that it also respect the “invisible” option in the contacts list and not show your dot just in case the person wants to be alone. Plus possibly an option to turn off seeing others dots if someone wants less going on in their map.

Basically I’d like to see an option to make this game more sociable and encourage people to play together since some maps feel empty sometimes because it looks like no one is out there.
