Southsun shore on Gandhara is Bot Heaven – Monsters agro the pets not the rangers, allowing them to kill at their leisure then move on to next monster.
Maybe the Monsters could bypass the pets? Just an idea but seen far far more bots than i have seen before, even the ones i have reported constantly every day for the past 5 weeks are still there 24/7
Why are reported bots never delt with? Why isnt there an employee in-game going around and checking on the reports?

So, I guess you don’t play ranger.

What a great idea though. Lets penalize all the rangers and make their pet even more useless to band-aid fix the bots who will easily jump classes to whichever is easiest until all of the classes are completely nerfed. When every mob OHK and every class does 1 damage per hit there will be no bots left!

Yes, let’s nerf, disregard and kitten off the entire ranger community again because you saw a ranger bot. That’s really constructive. This is exactly the reason why there was so much rage for two months straight from the ranger community (dev himself acknowledged our utilities to be subpar) until finally some love came with the patch of 14 December. If you want not only the bots, but also everyone playing the ranger class, to leave GW2, this is the way to go about it. If you change the aggro mechanism, you change a big part of the class. On a sidenote, most monsters in Orr already bypass our pets, to a point that it’s plain silly.

One question: would you have made this suggestion, which would increase the difficulty level to play a ranger very significantly, if your main character was a ranger?
