It can be very confusing to know what side you are on in spvp as you are randomly assigned to either blue or red team. The solution since launch was to have blue and red dye, but nobody likes that as it messed up your look. Disabling teamcolors is confusing for some ppl, including me.

The solution is very simple. Always color your own team blue and your opponents red. The opponents will see you as the red team and themselves as the blue team. No confusion for anyone without looking ugly as well.

Home bases show your color before you leave them. Pressing B will also show you which team you’re on. Hope that helps.

Yeah obviously…. Not saying you can’t figger it out. The point is in the middle of the game I travel from point to point and I forgot what my colour was. I just think its a better idea to associate blue with friendly and red with opponents, just like red and blue nametags in pve and pvp.

Well I agree that might be easier although so may need to warm up to the system. I’m assuming A-net figures that the computing power to implement how the current system recognizes the players and having it change the way bases, cap points, random flags, etc are colored on a per player basis is much greater than the computing power needed for you to remember which color your team is. They’ll, most likely, stick with the current system.
