This could be a back slot item, or a set bonus for certain armour/gem/rune pieces.

Purely an aesthetic thing… Passive effects like billowing smoke coming from the feet/legs, or an overall aura like in DBZ with different colours. Or effects like being engulfed in fire, or snowflakes falling around you.

The ‘Fervid Censer’ has a bit of this with the pollen, which is nice.

It would be beneficial for variety if armour sets had these sorts of effects as well. Sets like the AC set, where the armour glowed blue at night like the weapons. The HoTW set could be snowing, or just have a trail of snowflakes while running. Another effect could be partial transparency.

As far as acquiring these items, the themes should fit the places. Dungeons should be a drop for some unique back pieces. It would bring more people to the other dungeons instead of just farming CoF path 1. Crafting can also create unique back pieces, or create runes/gems that can give these auras. You would need a certain number of gems/runes in order to gain the effect. And you could only have 1 effect at a time active.
