Thief : Shadow return & Destroy shadow trap
I think this could be resolved by a bug fix honestly. Not a rewrite of the skill. Just fix the pathing
With the most recent patch i’ve played around with shadow trap and its Destroy shadow trap and as we all know is that the Destory shadow trap has this bad return tracking (WvW and PvE).
my suggestion is that Shadow return & Destory shadow trap should work like Portals (with only you tp back ofc ). Why ? Because i’m pretty annoyed that when i want to return to my location using Shadowstep i can’t most of the time, either i’m standing on a bridge and get tp:ed 20 unit-range instead of 1200. or i jumped off a cliff or a keep.
Would this be OP? No, not really cause is portal op? why should thief only suffer from bad tracking on their RETURN spell………
THIS SUGGESTION WILL ONLY AFFECT THE RETURN PART OF THE 3 SPELLS NOT THEIR COUNTER PART. spells included: Shadowstep, Infiltrator’s strike, Shadow trap.
