Lets be honest… medium armor is pretty lackluster compared to the other two types. I wish i could transmute my female thief’s armor into some of the light armor types that are available. Anyone agree that with the transmute stones we should be able to change into other armor classes? I mean, this game wants to thrive on customization right?

NOTE** This would ONLY be for appearance… dont need light armor ele’s running around with heavy armor def. statted equips, that would break the game lol

I don’t know how big the jump is in armor values from exotic to legendary,
but in the GW2 wiki pages it is written that each armor type only is 175 armor
from each other. (I think it was on wiki pages or in in this forum)

I’d pay cash money to transmute my Guardian Focus into a Shield (seriously), but i’m honesly not sure about this overall (in saying that, the gem medium armor would look great on my elemental ).

I definitely want to be able to give my Mesmer’s clothes the looks of leather. He’s just not the type to run around in a froofy robe.

I want this too, medium armor lacks feminism, i want my archer to be in some skirt like other classes with light armor, and should be free whatever appearance of the armor you want to have, i mean if you like appearance of your character that will make you play alot more right? Just the thinking getting the appearance of the armor you like in other classes would be great.

If they limited it so you can ONLY transmute the appearance (and have to keep the stats of the armor your profession can use) it would be awesome.
