I know this probably isn’t high on the priority list, but it’s a huge quality of life issue. The Sylvari glow is a huge part of the aesthetic, and yet we can’t see what it will look like when creating a character. I’ve had to remake Sylvari characters FAR too many times, because the colors don’t always turn out the way you think they will. Also, the glow is really fickle about when it shows up. I just got a Sylvari to level 6 before I even saw the glow graphic, and it clashes horribly and now I need to remake it.

I know this may seem trivial, but it is REALLY frustrating. You guys have done such an amazing job with character creation, but this issue makes creating a Sylvari a huge pain, which is a shame because they’re my favorite race.

Please please please consider adding a way to preview the glow.

Already in game.

You can remove the armor off your character and toggle the lighting on the character creation screen to see the Sylvari glow. There is a helm button and a light bulb button that will let you do this.
It would be nice if there was a hint or something on the character creation screen telling new players this feature, but there isn’t.
So yes, there already is a way to preview the sylvari glow before bringing the character inside the game.
