Guild Wars 2

Every time I log on and see my outfit I want to go play Guild Wars 1.
I want my ranger skirt back!!!
ALL of the outfits for girls are hideous and oversized.
There were BEAUTIFUL costumes in GW1 that attracted a lot of females to this game. I have been playing since GW1 first came out. My husband was asking me and asking me to play and I don’t like shooter games, have never liked them.
Then I made a ranger on his account and ended up buying my own account. Aesthetics matter to girls. These outfits are hideous, did you hire someone from the Salvation Army Thrift store to design them?
In GW1 the Dervish outfits were to DIE for, the ranger skirts so cute and sexy.
Suddenly in GW2 we are put on the chain gang? Blech! Ugly!

… have you tried playing a scholar?
The starting gear constantly flashing me my characters panties and breasts makes me want to puke. Not to mention most of the other scholar armor constantly showing off all of a female characters ‘assets’.

Not all girls need ‘cute and sexy’ skirts.

I agree though that a little more intra-profession silouette variety would be welcome.

You just need to learn to role-play. Pretend all of your other clothing is in the laundry and all you have to wear is your stripper outfit from your “off hours job”. Or just learn to luv butt capes. ^^

But seriously, what is with it with this game? Starter mini skirt with garter belt? Endless butt capes? Ankle length dresses that are wide open in front? Outfits with ragged hems that look like you got them out of the dumpster? Some of these are nice, but it’s relentlessly the same styles over and over again with few variations. You look at the available styles and wonder, were they paid extra if they designed butt capes or ankle length dresses? Where are the classy, stylish outfits they had in Guild Wars 1? Where are the choices?

Cabalist. That set has to be one of my favorites. It’s sexy without showing everything off. I really love the style of the winged set, but to me it’s entirely too revealing in places.

Revealing does not = sexy

Maybe the boys/men like more eye candy for their females, but not that many women/girls do. More skins that are a bit less revealing would be awesome.

+1 to this, it’s my fav skin for my ele. I don’t have enough stones to transmute my 80 lv set with it :/ Animated parts, nice details, colors nicely. Misses earrings thou, one of the things I’d like from GW1 to be in GW2.

This thread – again – is an opinion, and the idea of “sexiness” is different to everyone, but I have to agree in one thing. Heavy and light armors have quite a variety of revealing armors lots of them already available under lv 79 so they can be transmuted, while definitely larger part of medium sets are trench coats. Yeah, I kind of hoped to some of GW1 spirit to be transferred over, not just HoM skins and some weapon replicas, but the style of the armor. Ranger/assassin skirts included.

After the whole discussion over starter light armor, I don’t see OP’s demand granted unless we get some new skins in new dungeons or expansions that would met their expectations.
