i have thought of a new profession called sorcery it would be more of a healing profession. it would be a scholar role so it would be light Armour, the weapons will be scepter, staff, focus,great sword,shield and trident.

Seriously, without wanting to sound anyhow rude or so, but people which can’t seriously think of class concepts that are rich in details describing completely how the class should work at all, what it will make special and so on, such uncreative people should better post no class concept threads …

I seriously doubt hard, that you put up more than just 2 minutes maybe of thought into this “three liner idea”…

I’’d go so far to say, that threads like this are personally hard on the border on being more likely troll posts, than rather being some serious meant suggestions at all, but thats just my opinion, no offense.

Otherwise please prove me wrong and come up with more serious looking details about your idea … because you basically did absolutely nothing here, than writing out a class name and telling us, what weapons it should use… wtf … if that should be really everything you’ve to say about your idea, then I don’t know, if i should laugh, or if my passionate concepter heart should cry for big tears

I agree with this.

Same goes with suggestions in general. Some are really good, well thought out, and then you got some that amount to ‘I don’t like it, change it’ without saying how it could be improved.

Lore and theme first, which will dictate profession skills and profession mechanic.

The profession mechanic in detail (i.e. Attunements, Toolbelt, Clones)

Maybe a few examples of skills, the trait lines, the themes of different weapons.

Life is a journey.
Time is a river.
The door is ajar.

Hi marioguy and frostfang,

It’s great you’ve decided to be creative! However, If you’re gonna have a good idea, why not go ahead and make it a GREAT idea!!! Develop your ideas into a really rich and detailed profession, just let your imagination take you anywhere, and then we can have a chat about its playability.

Things to remember:
1) always second guess yourself, make sure your ideas aren’t just copies of something else.
2) your ideas can be really fantastic, don’t try and limit yourself too much
3) don’t go too wild either, avoid ‘god modes’ and look for weaknesses in your profession AS WELL AS its strengths.
