They will add Ascended Gear in WvW, but probably with a new currency, people are full with the old currencies (Karma,Gold,Badges of Honor,Dungeon Tokens), Ascended needs to be acquired with something NEW so everyone is on the same field. Allowing Ascended gear with Karma, gold, or any other “old” token is a very very bad idea and as far as I know, it will never be implemented.
And the TP is a horrible place to add the top gear, the top gear needs to be acquired by playing the game, not by gambling on the TP, any form of RNG or simply exploiting. Putting Legendaries there was a huge mistake, I don’t think we will ever see Ascended there though.
