Hi folks, I’m in the process of making a male Sylvari thief, with a blue mushroom head of course. Problem is when his weapons are sheathed they float a few inches off his body. Body size might affect it slightly but does not fix it.

So my question is whether or not this is fixed with later armour types, or if it’s something I’d have to live with forever. Little details like that really bother me annoyingly, so unless it’s fixed with later armour I’ll probably make a human instead.

Naw, I have a Sylvari Thief in full dungeon armour, and his weapons still float in mid-air. Looks kinda bad…

Yah, this is kind of annoying. Some armors have it worse than others , so you can do some experiementing to see which has less of a problem. For example, on my male Sylvari I’m using Feathered armor at the moment, and the weapons float so far they acutally clip into his arm which is super silly, but there’s only a small amount on my female Sylvari who’s wearing Banded armor. But it seems like most armor has at least some of this.

Hopefully it’ll be fixed. Sylvari seem to have some issues in general with hip size that gets brought up often (or rather the way armors behave at the hips) and since thats right around where the weapons sit, fixing that issue might help this as well.
