I do have to agree with some of the worst in people. I was in an overflow earlier today, and everyone was saying how we should get on to a chat system to have better communication. When I mentioned I had a Mac and most of the voice communication systems out there don’t support Mac there was a huge 15 minute argument on how PC’s are better than Macs among everyone else. -.-’

A Mac, might as well just run around naked in game. Bwahahahaha I’m Kidding… I’m kidding! Though that’s why people love Team Speak, it’s available on just about everything. You can even have it a phone or tablet too. It doesn’t have to be on the same computer you’re playing the game on.

I do agree with the OP. As difficulty in the game rises, so does the division amongst players. Couple that with having us being divided by the introduction of politics and it seems clear the dev’s wish to drive a wedge between us.

Funny how the only times I was in a map where they killed Tequatl was when everyone was being constructive and worked together. Very hard to find negative people or flamers in TKS or on the Desolation TS.

I was very dissapointed at first because indeed, the overflows and some main servers were being flooded with toxic comments and behaviour. But I was very surprised at how great and enjoyable it was to work together with motivated people that didn’t get discouraged by one or two wipes but kept trying to improve what they think they did wrong.

Feels like there are two sides to this content and I’ve experienced both. The frustrating and toxic behaviour from some people, usually resulting in failed events and trollers. Sometimes people are ofcourse really frustrated by people who refuse to learn or contine to troll, and I can understand such a reaction. On the other side there are those events where people stay positive and try to argue in a constructive way, those are usually the ones that make progress.

The only issues with this on TC I’ve seen was the last fight where there was a remark in Mumble we shouldn’t need the commanders to lead, call out, or bother organizing, we should just think for ourselves and just know what to do – ie they couldn’t be bothered.

First time I’ve ever been disappointed with my own server in this content – our commanders are usually polite, passionate and organized.

Meh, the only thing being a commander guarantees is that you spent 100g. There were always bad ones, just probably not so concentrated into one place vying for attention.

I’m just not used to this from TC during Teq – I guess I was spoiled by the commanders and volunteers who cared and actually, you know, commanded and worked together.

Won’t be doing late night Teq again. All the blame got piled on the turret users too. Very, VERY disappointed, TC.

I know what you mean, but remember that there are rotten apples everywhere, and that some commanders were commanding during the whole day and they were probably pretty tired already. I was not there when that happened, so I don’t know which commander was the one that was that rude, but it is a very unusual behavior. Don’t blame the whole server, please. I have been on many fights with TC already, got my title and never had this kind of problem.

It happened again. Guidence was asked for in Mumble as to where to cleanse and who needed what, they pretty much said if you don’t already know what to do, you can’t play this and it was pretty much a “GTFO N00B response”, one even called those screaming for command in mapchat “crybabies”. There are first timers still in TC who need to know where to go and what to do, that behavior is absolutely toxic. They did step up after saying all that and we got a kill but that is bullkitten – our server is better than that.

Guys, if you don’t want to repeatedly give commands even to a skilled group, don’t offer to be a commander or command on Mumble. It’s a thankless job but don’t sign up if you really don’t want to be prepared to herd cats.

I don’t see anyone ever fighting on my server at teq, but I do note a lack of willingness for people to do anything other than queensdale and frostgorge champ farm. And there is a lot of fighting thx to the trolls that like to kill champs out of order.

I gave up on ever crafting a Legendary. Best decision ever.

The nature of the internet will always cause this, all popular mmos suffer from this (except lotro which always seemed immune). The devs put out content which requires server coordination…

NO

You’re NOT ALLOWED to use such general and positive terms for this fight

This fight’s win condition is 100% an absolute DPS check, and nothing more…
There’s lots of servers who coordinate daily to achieve what others call the impossible.
Then there’s other servers who do not coordinate one bit beyond bringing maxed out pure power vit builds to this who succeed with time to spare. ….This is not a server coordination issue. This is artificial difficulty. This is a Spreadsheet in action….

Someone seems a bit flustered.

Can you give an example of a server doing nothing but DPSing it down with no coordination, and please provide proof of your currently ignorant and baseless statement?

I was there this time, yeah, it was pretty bad. They just assumed everybody was on Mumble. They were commanding nicely by voice, but not by text. It took the whole first part of the event for them to realize that the map was full of people that couldn’t hear them.

I hope that it never happens again.
