we have those pictures of a ascneded GS with a black cobalt flame like effect(i have been asking for one of those kinds of skins for months) but i have to ask the system that will be used for the skin. will it be the same as the current ascended drop system, were you get one of random stats and choice weapon, or will it be different. such a skin we cant craft, so our ability to get one we want is forced into extremely low odds on a rare event, or transmutation(still very rare on a rare event). is that the expected system then. since the patch will be released later today, if someone does get the skin, please post how it works.

I firmly believe that they will drop as an Ascended Tequatl Weaponry box and will have fixed stats where you can pick the weapon you like.

Considering some research and the looks of the weapon, I also believe they will have the missing ‘Giver’ stats. I’m excited to see if this would be correct.

I think Giver isn’t included (like it isn’t on legendaries) because it used to have 3 different stat combos. Weapons had Cond Duration, Prec, Vit. Armor had Toughness, Boon Dur, Heal, and the upgrade/suffix was Magic Find, Boon Dur, Heal.

The MF especially couldn’t be included, although it was changed to match the armor combo.

I see no problem with Giver weapons though. By the time ascended armour is released they can very well change the giver armour.

The fact that the main attribute is condition duration means that the weapons would need a different colour, which would fit the Tequatl weapons.
