I am okay with the obelisk not resetting daily for a SP. I find it much more convenient to have it as a permanent place to fuse my crystal shards. Instead of having to constantly run out to a place of power to fuse, I find it much better just go to my home instance one a day and fuse them there. For me, I don’t see a need to have a permanent place to get skill points because I don’t have any problems getting SP just from the fact that now Scroll of Knowledge drop considerably. Since release, I have over 150 of them.

For those who have 1-2 mains that they play all the time and have amassed scrolls and SPs…sure, a resetting obelisk would be bloat. It’d be free SP just to have em.

But for players like myself, who have 8 characters, some at 80, some at 30, and everywhere in-between, extra SPs are nice for leveling and unlocking skills. Also, cuz there’s this new 25pt Antitoxin Spray that my level 30 elementalist can’t afford and I refuse to burn 250 spores + 5g to get it. The content is open for any character 25+ but only 80s have the SP to buy the skill.

I’d like a resetting obelisk that can be used once per account.

i dun even go to home instance..almost never. maybe 3 times during my entire game play (other than from when story requires it)..i find it to costly to move there and it’s totally out of route and for what? to gather few candy corns or crystals? you realize that teleport here and there and much loading screens along the way would be more costly than to just buy the thing from TP. if them to have meaning,,they should make travel there for free via some kinda portal stone or likes how we do to pvp. also back for where we were… so far home instance is just useless…
