That’s not why MLP fans don’t like Bronies, BTW. It has to do with being sexist, racist, homophobic and pretty kittening awful behavior that shouldn’t be discussed on a family friendly forum.
Bronies came to be on 4chan, it’s where the term came from. It’s a great series but a lot of us really don’t like Bronies and what they did to Pinkiepony kinda was the last straw.

Well, you and I must visit other parts of internet. While a bit sexist bronies I know are everything but that what you described. All I can connect with their movement is petition to restore kitten y to her original form and battle cries like “I’ll love and respect heck out of you!”
We must agree that 4chan while being….let’s say weirdly entertaining, gathers specific type of people. 4chan recognized that movement as a thing, in it’s own creepy and offensive way. It’s true that 4chan coined that name but they didn’t created movement itself.
TL:DR Please don’t put 4chan and bronies in same bascet.
