Good job.
THERE ARE some mistakes and flaws to the winter’s day, but I’d like to use this opportunity to give my thumbs up to Anet. Great job!! Enjoying it so far.
The sheer effort that has been put into the environment – especially in the Mists and the Jumping Puzzle – would make up for all that anyway.
There has certainly been much more effort put into holiday events in Guild Wars than any other game I’ve played.

I also have to say that the developers did a great job.
They improved a lot. (e.g. how the jumping puzzle worked, compared to Halloween and also less “grinding”.)
The whole Wintersday was very enjoyable for me so far and did not feel like a grind at all. It did not feel the slightest bit unpleasant and I managed to complete all achievements that are doable right now with relative ease.
On Halloween, some of the achievements were a pain. E.g. the pumpkin carving. It really felt like a huge grind.
Yeah. This event is pretty good. I like the new jumping puzzle. But the Choir event and Choir bell just takes the cake.
Awesome job ArenaNet.
Very few little ‘nit picky’ things from me as well, but overall it’s been (and will continue to be for me, I still have lots to do) a great experience.
+1 to this, good job.
The Warrior turns to the guardian and says, “Did you hear something?”
Guardian replies, “No, but how’d the elementalist die?”
Toxx reminds me of GLaDOS
I know, right? Glad I’m not the only one who thinks so!
Enjoying Wintersday so far. Thanks for all the work put into it!
+1 to less one time events, the jumping puzzle and bell choir.
-1 for the selfish gameplay promoted by Snowball Mayhem achievements
