How do I use the API

So I kind of get what this API is suposed to do. Now the only problem is that I don’t know how I am suposed to get it to work. Once I press the link I get to a page with loads of text which I can somewhat relate to but from there on I have no idea of what to do with it. Is there anyone who is able to explain to me what I am suposed to do?

You will need to understand how to program and parse API queries in a programming language to develop a application. This is a much more complex topic then can be covered in a single post. May I recommend finding a good programming language like Ruby,Python,Perl or PHP then study up on how to parse the text and create the application you desire.

APIs are interfaces made for programs, so it’s natural that the result is not that readable for yourself. If you don’t know what to do with it, then it’s probably safe to say that you are not the target audience for this.

Just give it a bit time and enjoy the new utilities people will come up with thanks to the API.
